Brennan says she is about 200 years old but looks like she is in her early 20s, and she holds a huge goblet of wine at 9:30 in the morning E1·00:04:55. She calls out drunkenly to Fabian during his fencing practice and later winks at Herzon E1·00:05:08 E1·00:08:34.

When Fabian brings his friends to Seacaster Manor, she tells Adaine Abernant in Elven that she married a human "and he will die," then retires to her sensory deprivation egg E6·01:02:34 E6·01:02:49 E6·01:03:55. Bill Seacaster credits her with Fabian's elven blood E8·00:30:21. During the attack on Seacaster Manor Fabian defends her egg, and when she complains about the hubbub he slaps the wine from her hand and tells her to pull herself together E15·01:44:52 E15·01:45:10. At Bill Seacaster's funeral she says she will start training Fabian to actually swordfight and admits she has not been sober in 15 years E17·01:11:00 E17·01:11:07. She shows interest in Gilear Faeth when he introduces himself as vice principal E17·01:13:30.

In season 2 she is Gilear's partner, and he stays in her garage S2E1·00:43:13 S2E9·01:00:07. Grieving in a black-on-black kimono and hungover for months, she holds a dagger to Fabian's throat and says that if Gilear does not come back she will duel him on top of Seacaster Manor S2E2a·00:06:55 S2E2a·00:09:20 S2E2a·00:11:49. She wishes him "bon voyage" on his first mission abroad S2E2a·00:11:26. Her name is given as Hallariel Lomenelda of Kei Lumennura S2E9·00:10:35.

She arrives at dawn in sunglasses with a purse and says she grew up in Kei Lumennura and last visited 18 years ago S2E11·00:16:21 S2E11·00:22:13 S2E11·00:23:53. She tells Fabian his father valued ships with "the soul of a survivor" S2E11·01:12:52. The party invents a lie for Gilear that she took Cathilda back to make yogurt S2E12·00:19:46 S2E12·00:23:51. Bill tells Gilear to take good care of Hallariel, "the most beautiful woman in the world" S2E16·01:20:42.
