Coffin Run, episode 1: Down For The Count
In 1855 Transylvania, the vampire spawn and household of Count Dracula wait at the Gold Crona Inn in the railroad town of Fagari for his return from the New World. Squing, the first vampire Dracula made, leads only in theory; May Wong, a vampire starlet, calls the Count her husband; Dr. Aleksandr Astrovsky ("Sasha") is a frazzled inventor who fears the outdoors; and Wetzel, a flayed young man, dreams of becoming a vampire. From the scraps of Dracula's letter Squing makes out that the train is due, and the driver Drago takes them to the new station behind four shadow horses. There a businessman, Emil Ward, mentions a coffin in first class, and Wetzel intimidates a Local 47 railworker out of the way so it can be opened. Dracula greets them with "Hello, kittens." 00:57:31, says he has been away two years though the party counted two months, and learns that Squing ate his letter. A cannonball then tears into him, and as he slumps back into the coffin Razvan rises from behind the crates, a woman, Kieran, reloads the cannon, and Razvan rallies the Anti-Vampires Vampire Club. 00:01:51–01:08:43
Coffin Run, episode 2: Attacks on the Tracks
On the platform Razvan charms Wetzel, and Squing takes his Form of Dread, summons the demon Zarb and hauls Dracula behind cover. Aleksandr's flame thrower scorches Razvan, the portly Percival douses the party with holy water, and the wounded Count tells them "Put me in the coffin." 00:20:39; May starts the train, and Razvan, sprayed with Wetzel's hydraulic fluid, turns to mist and boards it. Squing drags the coffin through Percival's bat swarms while a woman sends out her goose, Bobbert; Aleksandr's fire kills Zarb and fells Percival, who tells May his fellows merely want to be mortals again, and Wetzel uncouples the cars to cut Razvan off. Back at the inn Aleksandr and Squing know that Dracula must heal in his ancestral soil at Castle Dracula. Dracula's familiar Dimitri calls them failures and hands Wetzel a letter that turns out to be addressed to Setzer, its hidden lines harsh about Wetzel and May; Wetzel is smashing carriage spokes when May stops him with Hold Person. Aleksandr learns that Squing has been eating his letters to his wife Marina, and after Squing's apology Drago talks Wetzel out of his despair and the party sets out for the castle. 00:01:52–02:03:18
Coffin Run, episode 3: Let's Kill Everybody
In the inn's barn, where the coffin is hidden, Wetzel finds Florina, a street child who wants Dracula to make her a vampire; she calls Aleksandr grandfather and is hired as an unpaid helper. Sent to the inn, she comes back in the grip of Daciana Lee of the monster slayers AIMS, who says AIMS has a treaty with Dracula and has heard he is ailing; she gives Aleksandr an elephant bracelet and asks the party to clear the men blocking a bridge. On the road Zaria, one of Dracula's wives, says the wives are leaving to follow their dreams and gives May her letter from Dracula, and Dracula tells Wetzel in his mind "If I die, your dreams die." 01:03:36. At the bridge Squing drains a union worker to death, Aleksandr shoves the union leader Benjamin Strum into the river and falls in with him, and the party clears the crossing as the vampire Keith looks on. Dimitri gives Squing a blessing, and a letter Florina stole from Dimitri's bag moves Aleksandr to vow to save Dracula, and he learns of a forbidden alchemy using the Count's blood. Then werewolves howl in the forest around the carriage, Drago reveals a ballista under his cloak, and initiative is rolled. 00:02:45–01:46:52
Coffin Run, episode 4: Waylaid by Werewolves
Four female werewolves attack the carriage as it races through the forest toward Castle Dracula: a shadow horse is lost, the back is torn open, and the werewolves drag the coffin out until Squing hauls it back. May's Pomeranian Fifi is mauled and begins to turn, Drago's ballista bolt kills one werewolf, and Wetzel, clawed, spits at another and in his fury unlocks Enraged Frenzy. In a letter that flutters out of the coffin Dracula regrets old cruelties in Squing's making and calls him his right hand, and Squing keeps one part to himself. May's scream kills a second werewolf; in the canyon below the castle a train crosses their path, May Shadow Steps aboard to unhook the coal cart, and Aleksandr realizes that one of the werewolves is his wife. Aleksandr flies off with Florina, Squing carries Dracula's body out, and Wetzel drinks a flight potion and pulls Drago to safety as the carriage is torn into the gully. On the bridge Marina, her fur shed, tells Aleksandr "I thought you were dead! I came to avenge you, my love!" 01:40:47; Squing reads the Count the private part of his letter, Dracula orders him to get him to his ancestral soil, and a shadow on the train's engine watches them go. 00:02:43–01:45:49
Coffin Run, episode 5: Drac's Moved-In Castle
At dawn on the swinging bridge the sun weakens May and Squing, and Aleksandr finds that Daciana's bracelet is also a tracker. Daciana says her quarrel is not with them, but Aleksandr injects her with a necrotizing solution, a sniper hits him and Daciana stuns Drago; in the parley she says "He wasn't supposed to come back." 00:18:42 and lets them pass on May's promise not to revive him. Wetzel disarms a spectral ribbon on Drago's shoulder, and Drago removes an old protective seal from the bridge and gives it to Wetzel. At the castle Madam Malquet and Dimitri have been fired, Emil Ward and his wife Emilia claim the house as Dracula's closest relations, and the hungry plant Sebastian is loose; Squing eats the Wards' papers, they leave, and May rehires Madam Malquet. In his letters Dracula tells Squing he does not intend to come back, offers Wetzel his wish to become a vampire, and tells May he does not love her; he speaks once from under a helmet, and after a long rest May and Squing rout a tour group and May is named Countess. In the chamber at the tomb of Dracula's ancestors strangers hold a sale of his things, and a wild-haired man pushes a metal tubular object out of the dark. 00:02:28–01:35:26
Coffin Run, episode 6: Feed the Beast
In the chamber, full of antiquers pricing Dracula's things, Razvan the Reborn pushes in a cannon, and Squing flies the Count's body down to his coffin in the ancestral soil. Dracula rises as a ravening beast and rips out Setzer's throat; Aleksandr recalls that until he is fed to completion he will see everyone as blood bags. The party fights Razvan, a man with insect swarms, a woman with rats, Vladvina with the goose Bobbert, and men with holy water, a stake launcher and a holy hand grenade; Razvan's cannon kills Zarb, who crawls back into Squing's head, and Wetzel, leaving the seal in his pocket, drops Razvan with a sneak attack and a trick stair to scarabs that devour him. May's call draws antiquers to the Count, she feeds him her own blood, Squing and Wetzel drop people into his mouth, and once he has eaten a Rasputin fan and Bobbert he comes back to himself and with "Leave." 01:24:16 empties the castle. Wetzel tells Dracula he is not sure eternal life is for him, then leaves with Drago for Cairo. At midnight Dracula meets Marina, leaves the household to May with Squing as minister of foreign affairs, admits he went to New York meaning to destroy himself, stays on as advisor and mentor, and retires to play golf in the graveyard. 00:02:07–01:49:14
