Count Dracula
In the first episode Jasmine's opening narration says Count Dracula is not home, because "He's left you all in charge, as he has gone across the sea to the New World" CR E1·00:01:51. She shows him as an imposing figure cloaked in velvet that looks like night, standing over a writing desk and penning a vitally important letter for Squing CR E1·00:01:51. When he steps out of his coffin at the Fagari railway station, Jasmine gives him high cheekbones, manicured eyebrows, impossibly large teeth and ruby red lips CR E1·00:56:32. He greets the party with "Hello, kittens" CR E1·00:57:31. He tells Squing "you are but the most precious fruit of my loins" CR E1·00:57:52, and calls Wetzel "my little flay thing" CR E1·00:58:39. He says the New World contains delights, and that he even ate something called a hot dog in New York CR E1·00:58:57 CR E1·00:59:17. He speaks of his two-year absence CR E1·00:59:37. He tells Squing that the day he created him, "I did the one good thing that I needed to do to atone for my sins" CR E1·01:01:26.
Dracula is the Prince of Lies, the vampire lord whose household the party runs, and Squing's maker CR E1·00:57:11 CR E1·01:01:26. At the end of the first episode a cannonball shatters half his skull and leaves a gaping wound where his chest was, and he slumps back into the coffin CR E1·01:02:35 CR E1·01:02:43. In the second episode he says "The world is going dark" CR E2·00:02:09. Holy water makes his flesh chip away and sizzle CR E2·00:20:23, and he says "Put me in the coffin" CR E2·00:20:39. After Aleksandr gives him a healing elixir he says "Ancestral soil" CR E2·00:47:41, and Jasmine says that is where a gravely hurt vampire must heal, in his chambers at the castle CR E2·01:19:22. Dimitri brings a letter from Dracula addressed to Setzer, and in its hidden part Dracula writes that Wetzel is "far too preoccupied with his own flesh to even truly hear me sometimes" CR E2·01:38:14. He also writes that he would "much rather take hot pokers to Wetzel's supple frame" than engage with May, whom he calls "that absolute square" CR E2·01:38:14.
In the third episode Dracula speaks in Wetzel's mind, saying "I have no reason to lie to you, Wetzel, when I could twist your lithe little body into knots, even in my weakened state" CR E3·00:06:17. He tells Wetzel "If I die, your dreams die" CR E3·01:03:36. He also complains "Half of my head is blown off over here" CR E3·01:04:19 and tells the party to hurry up CR E3·01:05:00. In the fourth episode a sneeze from the coffin knocks out three of his teeth when Wetzel's blow lands on a werewolf CR E4·00:27:03 CR E4·00:27:15. Jasmine says some strange force keeps the coffin lid on while a werewolf tries to pry it open CR E4·00:31:32. Squing reads him the part of his letter meant for Squing, and Dracula answers "I mean you" CR E4·01:43:14 CR E4·01:43:43. He tells Squing "You are soft on the inside and not just on the outside" CR E4·01:44:04. He then orders "Get me to my ancestral soil, you fucking idiot" CR E4·01:44:48, and says "I'm literally fucking dying" CR E4·01:44:53.
In the fifth episode Squing's persuasion check on the corpse in a helmet makes Dracula stir and speak CR E5·01:07:09. With half his face missing he says it is fitting that they are with his most prized possessions, "for that is what you are" CR E5·01:07:37. In the sixth episode Squing places him in the coffin in his chamber, and Jasmine says he rises from the tomb as a twisted beast with a ravening hunger and almost no recognition in his eyes CR E6·00:08:05 CR E6·00:08:31. He rips out Setzer's throat, and Jasmine says "Setzer is no more" CR E6·00:10:33. Jasmine explains that a mortally wounded vampire who is not fed loses his mind until he is fed to completion CR E6·00:11:43. He eats Rasputin, several antiquers and Bobbert, and after May feeds him three vials of blood he grows into a winged, muscled form CR E6·01:03:03 CR E6·01:05:13 CR E6·01:07:46. Wetzel flings an antiquer to him, and once he is fed to completion he returns to himself CR E6·01:21:33 CR E6·01:23:20, and says "Oh, hello loves. How are you, my kittens? Sorry, I'm just not myself when I'm hungry" CR E6·01:23:20.
Dracula says "Leave" CR E6·01:24:16, and Jasmine says everyone in the castle leaves CR E6·01:24:19. He says "No one's going to bother my kittens in my home" CR E6·01:24:58. He says "Thank you for feeding me" CR E6·01:25:38, and that he is sated for now CR E6·01:25:43. He says he preferred Wetzel to Setzer, and that Setzer was very good at his job and a new one must be hired CR E6·01:25:47 CR E6·01:25:58. When Wetzel says he does not know if this is for him CR E6·01:26:47, Dracula takes his hand and says "there is no rush" CR E6·01:27:52. Wetzel says "There's just gotta be an end" CR E6·01:28:10, and Dracula later tells him "Bring your answer, for now, Wetzel" CR E6·01:29:29.
At midnight Dracula tells Marina "Our home is your home" CR E6·01:41:04. He reads his last command, leaving the castle and household to May, appointing Squing minister of foreign affairs, and staying on as advisor and mentor CR E6·01:42:05 CR E6·01:42:32. He says he went to New York with every intention of destroying himself, but thought how cliche it was to cast himself at the mercy of the sunlight CR E6·01:42:32. Squing reads him his poem "Dracula is spectacula" CR E6·01:45:22.
