Yak

Yak is a butterscotch falcon that Ruby calls with Find Familiar and names Yak CC E3·00:49:18 CC E3·00:49:52. Brennan describes him as a very distinguished, grumpy-looking butterscotch falcon CC E3·00:50:12.

Yak is Ruby's falcon familiar, called with Find Familiar and named in CC_03 CC E3·00:49:52. He gives Ruby the Help action in many rolls, circles over the city, and follows her out of the cathedral window CC E5·00:03:36 CC E6·01:12:32 CC E6·01:36:35. After Jet's death Ruby throws her consciousness into him at the crow's nest CC E11·00:16:49. He scouts for her before the mountain and the battle, and helps with the rope and the final blow on the Fairy CC E13·01:26:52 CC E14·01:33:57 CC E16·00:52:31. In the last battle he still evens out Ruby's disadvantage on her shortbow CC E17·00:17:45.
