Manta Ray Jack is a Dairy Islands man-at-arms who is in Morris's contingent and says he hopes the Bulb sends the carrot to the Hungry One's stomach CC E5·00:14:38. He is held in shackles in the cathedral, where the Pontifex can compel him to tell the truth about Amethar's marriage, and Ruby's attempt to free him fails CC E6·00:00:57 CC E6·01:32:13. Amethar says Manta Ray Jack was his best friend and the witness to the marriage CC E9·00:29:07.
