Brennan shows the masts of three Imperial warships sunk in the harbor and the flags of House Jawbreaker and House Rocks flying over it CC E9·00:55:32. He says huge ballista and giant crossbows stand on the towers and that it looks like Port Syrup has armed up pretty fast CC E9·00:55:32.

In CC_15 Cinnamon flies west to Port Syrup, and on the 10th of Highharvest the party arrives at what Brennan calls a once joyous port city reduced to rubble CC E15·01:38:31 CC E15·01:48:24. He says the Bulbian churches that did not ring out when Amethar first landed are utterly destroyed, and that the people look terrified CC E15·01:48:24 CC E15·01:49:18. In CC_16 Caramelinda tells Amethar that Port Syrup is in ruins, and Saccharina calls what happened there disgusting, saying she understands Cinnamon is a powerful beast but saw no evidence of any guidance given to him CC E16·00:07:29 CC E16·00:22:45. In CC_17 she says it was terrible and done in her name CC E17·02:05:11.
