Aurora Nebbins
In the third episode Hyacinth Khrome tells the crew about her arch rival Myalor Nabthacks SOE3·01:50:03, then asks "Does the name Aurora Nebbins ring a bell?" SOE3·01:50:57. Hyacinth says Aurora Nebbins is a Royal Blue Mastiff who will appear the next day at the Carbine Kennel Club Dog Show at the dome SOE3·01:56:00. She offers the crew 25,000 credits to simply remove the dog from the show SOE3·01:52:09 SOE3·01:56:00.
In the third episode Hyacinth Khrome hires the crew to remove the Royal Blue Mastiff Aurora Nebbins from the Carbine Kennel Club Dog Show for 25,000 credits SOE3·01:52:09 SOE3·01:56:00. In the fourth episode Brennan says Aurora's owner is Myalor Nabthacks and that the crew is looking for a Royal Blue Mastiff at the show SOE4·02:24:22. When Myalor Nabthacks cries "Oh no!", Brennan says Aurora bites her head off SOE4·02:48:05 SOE4·02:48:08. He describes Aurora surging through Jimmy the Snout's dais into hundreds of onlookers SOE4·02:49:09. The fifth episode's recap says the crew abducted her, fulfilling a Smash 'n Grab contract from Hyacinth Khrome SOE5·00:00:51.
Brennan says Sidney senses that Aurora is fully hairless, may be partially aquatic, and has a speed of 50 SOE5·00:25:02. Brennan says "you see trace flecks of Borinyum krystal" in her solid yellow eyes and that she bonds with Sidney in that moment SOE5·01:27:54. He says Aurora kneels so that ten Jib-Job employees can board her SOE5·02:06:15. In the sixth episode Brennan says she coils around Sidney wherever Sidney goes on the ship SOE6·00:09:09. His recap in the eleventh episode counts her among the new crew members SOE11·00:04:52.
In the twelfth episode Sidney tells her "Aurora, don't eat the other dogs", adding that the crew has to keep her fed with terrapins SOE12·01:29:44. In the sixteenth episode Brennan says Zortch is riding Aurora with Gnosis SOE16·02:20:28. In the seventeenth episode Brennan says she curls around Sidney's seat at the gunner station, tensed as if she wants to leap into space SOE17·00:11:37. In the last episode Brennan says she pulls wires out of a door with her weird external teeth, and later chases tortoises through the water system SOE18·00:49:43 SOE18·03:03:47.
