What happens

00:01:04 Brennan's recap (recap): the party descended the beanstalk past "a couple strange little ... clues" and a squishy cloud; the players realise that they are the giants; Brennan: "Giants confirmed, giants confirmed. There are giants in this land, and we are them."; they came after Mother Goose's book, "stolen by the Princess Rapunzel"; the Gander's wings came as Rosamund and Pib tried to move into another world, Gerard revealed the Sword of Truth, the Golden Goose faced "its brother", and the Goose is now tied down by militia at the bottom of the beanstalk (00:01:34, 00:02:28).
00:03:19 The descent: a horn, a watchtower fire, cries of "The giants are coming!" and "Here comes the Giant Slayer!"; Rosamund acts first, asks about talking, is answered "More giant flesh for hungry warriors!", and casts Ice Knife on a group of archers, a gory slaughter (00:03:23, 00:03:47, 00:04:05, 00:05:24).
00:06:23 Rosamund climbs out of a pit and sees Jack the Giant Slayer with a massive sword; he leaps 20 feet, calls "fire!" to a cow-mounted trebuchet, which hits Rosamund for 17 (00:07:04, 00:07:12, 00:07:37, 00:08:01).
00:08:22 Pib attacks a skirmisher group with sneak attack (22 hits, 18 damage), then Perception 19 sees tunnels and more forces further down; four tiny wizards cast four Hold Monsters that the three tested all save against; trebuchets hit Rosamund for 16 (00:09:02, 00:10:03, 00:11:09, 00:12:23).
00:12:43 Gerard burns Action Surge and jumps into a crevice with Pib (Athletics 18), uses Second Wind (10); Jack turns after "the titan frog"; Pib glimpses Alphonse the mule among the tiny army (00:13:11, 00:13:41, 00:13:54, 00:14:19).
00:14:45 Mother Goose climbs up (Athletics DC 10), calls out to Jack, Persuasion 19, then Misty Steps close, kneels and tells him he was his father in another world; a second Persuasion is a nat one; Jack comes to fight him (00:15:03, 00:15:12, 00:15:28, 00:16:54, 00:17:27).
00:18:06 Bird-mounted lancers dive on Pib and Gerard (14 damage to Gerard; Pib's Constitution save is 19 against an attack Brennan says was a nat 20, and he takes 7) (00:18:58, 00:19:36, 00:19:44).
00:20:06 Pinocchio uses his new sixth-level ability Strands of Fate to cast Animate Objects: a watchtower, two swords, two skulls; golden strings fly from his hand; the objects crush archers, wound Alphonse, chase wizards; Cricket joins and bites at a wizard (00:20:06, 00:21:55, 00:23:18, 00:25:35, 00:26:46).
00:28:24 Ylfa rages, cuts down skirmishers (4 die), clears the pit with a 15 and makes herself a target ("I am the little slayer!") (00:28:49, 00:30:06, 00:30:21).
00:30:28 Rosamund summons a "really sharp bird" (Summon Beast), crit, tears a wizard apart and drops the corpse in front of the army; she takes cover behind a tower (00:31:17, 00:31:55, 00:32:24).
00:32:57 Jack hits Mother Goose for 22; Mother Goose answers "I'm your giant daddy" (00:33:18, 00:33:37).
00:34:15 Initiative shifts for Pib and Gerard; wizards turn a skull into a vase of flowers, are Counterspelled on a second try, and hurl an ice storm that Ylfa shrugs off; a trebuchet boulder hits Ylfa for 7 after halving (00:34:42, 00:35:19, 00:36:09, 00:36:51).
00:37:31 Gerard jumps to the Golden Goose, who is tied by five restraints on ten stakes; she greets Mother Goose; he cuts two restraints (23 and 21 to hit), Pib's Sleight of Hand (dirty 20) takes a third, and Pib hides under her wing (00:38:34, 00:39:28, 00:40:19, 00:41:52, 00:42:09).
00:40:48 Jack calls the party thieves of "the Goose, the harp, the golden egg" and says the three brought riches and joy to his lands; Mother Goose weeps; Brennan: "You see your son in a land where his schemes worked, and how much it destroyed him that that happened." (00:40:54, 00:41:05, 00:41:13).
00:42:50 Mother Goose's Wisdom save 17; Brennan, before the reflection of Henry: "Who spoke to Alphonse? Who was looking for a beanstalk?" (00:44:25); Brennan: without the book that would prove it, he is "a babbling giant", and in Jack's eyes he sees "the face of Henry"; Shatter (third level, 16 damage) kills four bird rangers; he cries "my husband might be here!" (00:43:02, 00:44:45, 00:45:14, 00:45:57).
00:46:09 Jack misses for the first time: "you are the second giant to claim to be my father." (00:46:20).
00:47:18 Alphonse, ridden by a tiny soldier, charges Ylfa ("Please don't take this personally!"); tiny cavalry encircle Mother Goose and Ylfa (00:47:22, 00:47:47, 00:48:42).
00:49:28 Pinocchio lets his animated objects go (confusion, d10 each), Eldritch Blasts a tower wizard, gets out of the pit (Athletics 10); Cricket's attacks fail (00:49:36, 00:51:03, 00:52:01).
00:54:19 Ylfa becomes a hyena, hoists Mother Goose over her shoulder (Athletics nat 20) and carries him out of the "death circle", with a second nat 20 on three Strength saves (00:54:26, 00:55:18, 00:56:05).
00:57:22 Rosamund with Zephyr Strike shoots Jack (24 to hit, 11 damage), her swarm knocks him back 15 feet prone; her bird kills a wizard; a dirty 20 Perception hears prisoners cry from a tent (00:57:41, 00:58:06, 01:00:18).
01:00:42 Jack's turn; the Golden Goose's turn (two of five restraints left needing 8+ each; rolls 2 and 14, fail); a wizard on a Fly jump dies; Rosamund is held by Hold Monster, Mother Goose's Counterspell fails (5) (01:01:08, 01:01:49, 01:03:06, 01:03:37, 01:04:15).
01:05:11 Trebuchets hit Pinocchio (21) and Ylfa (19 halved to 9); Pib sneak-attacks the polearm crew (18 to hit, 20 damage); Gerard is roped by polearms and left at 3 hit points, then cuts the last two ropes (11 and 9 damage): "The Goose is loose!" (01:05:48, 01:07:50, 01:08:35, 01:09:10).
01:09:29 Gerard's Maneuvering Attack lets the Goose fly 80 feet into the battle: "Never fear, never fear! Brighter days are here!"; Pib and Gerard are carried out (01:09:37, 01:10:08, 01:10:25).
01:10:49 Mother Goose asks the Goose about the egg and the harp; he runs to the tent and learns that Tom Thumb and Thumbelina are inside, restrained (01:10:58, 01:12:06).
01:12:29 Cricket bites an archer's head off; Alphonse hits Pinocchio for 23 and Pinocchio drops; the animated tower crumbles; cavalry charge Ylfa (01:13:35, 01:14:35, 01:14:38).
01:16:13 Pinocchio's death save 19 succeeds; Ylfa wolfs out even bigger ("I'm the most popular girl at the dance"), fails to disarm Jack (Athletics against 18); Rosamund breaks the hold (Wisdom 18) and her bird eats a rider (01:16:13, 01:17:14, 01:18:36, 01:19:08, 01:19:44).
01:20:21 The Goose offers help and lands to heal; Pib intimidates Alphonse (21) into running; Alphonse learns to roll (01:20:26, 01:21:09, 01:21:32).
01:21:49 Pinocchio, at 0 hit points, hears his Stepmother ("I want you back, Pinocchio."); the Goose's 6th-level Heal gives 70 hit points; he is scooped onto the Goose (01:22:06, 01:22:47, 01:23:03).
01:24:14 A wizard's Polymorph on the Golden Goose is Counterspelled (Lou's 9 fails; Mother Goose's nat 20 succeeds); an ice storm and trebuchets hit the Goose and her riders (53 to the Goose) (01:24:42, 01:25:00, 01:26:17).
01:26:33 Gerard's shortbow (16) kills one of the last two wizards and Pib's thrown knife (17) the other: "Tiny little wizards are gone!" (01:27:35, 01:28:02, 01:28:22).
01:28:43 Mother Goose frees Tom Thumb and Thumbelina (Athletics DC 5); they appear on cards; Jack misses; Alphonse's rider survives a roll; Jack orders "Torch the beanstalk!" (01:29:14, 01:29:36, 01:29:43, 01:30:25, 01:31:21).
01:32:47 Pinocchio's Eldritch Blasts (13 and 7) free the egg; Tom Thumb cuts the harp's restraints; Ylfa grapples and drags a soldier (Athletics 21) and leaps the chasm (21); Rosamund knocks a unit into a canyon; birds harry the torch-bearers (01:34:06, 01:35:07, 01:36:07, 01:37:40, 01:39:09, 01:40:05).
01:40:27 Jack again: "If you were my father, you would understand! These people revere me!"; Mother Goose's Persuasion 15; the Goose gathers egg, harp, Tom, Thumbelina, Pib and Gerard and flies straight up, deposits them on the beanstalk (01:40:30, 01:40:54, 01:41:34, 01:42:16, 01:42:59).
01:44:18 From the beanstalk Gerard and Pib kill the remaining skirmishers (Gerard's arrow hits with 21 for 10 damage, his second superiority die giving Pib advantage; Pib 28 halved to 14, then 20); no one lights the stalk; Gerard and Pib start to climb (01:44:34, 01:45:32, 01:45:53, 01:46:15).
01:46:43 Mother Goose's speech to Jack ("you're my son"); his Insight is a nat one (Luck point, a 2 also rolled; which die was kept is not said); Brennan offers the "third such thing" (a third wish) and Mother Goose does not take it; he disengages toward the beanstalk and Brennan notes that "in this moment, finally, Jack would not have struck at you" (01:46:49, 01:47:43, 01:48:48, 01:49:58, 01:50:30).
01:51:18 Archers and trebuchets hit Mother Goose, Ylfa and the Goose; cavalry descend on Alphonse ("You lied to me! You're a trickster and a liar!"); Pib: "I can't help you, Alphonse!" (01:51:18, 01:52:43).
01:52:53 Pinocchio, having heard Mother Goose's talk with Jack, feels weird about blowing up the trebuchet; he lights a firework, hands it to Cricket, who attacks Alphonse and the cavalry: damage 26 kills everyone around; Lou uses Call of Destiny; the final save is a nat 20, whose die is not stated (01:52:59, 01:54:24, 01:55:16, 01:57:18).
01:58:04 The rocket: "Alphonse flies into the air", purple, red and green; "welcome to Toy Island!"; the curse breaks, the mule becomes a handsome prince with two hit points; he runs (01:58:16, 01:58:37, 01:59:06, 01:59:15).
01:59:39 Ylfa and Rosamund dash to the beanstalk; Mother Goose gives Alphonse a Bardic Inspiration (02:00:28); the party climbs with the treasures while Jack calls for more birds; Alphonse: "I'll always remember you, Puss in Boots." (02:00:05, 02:00:36, 02:00:51).
02:01:03 Mother Goose is upset at the top; Rosamund asks "You want a hug?" and he says yes; the Golden Goose returns with a basket from "His Highness" holding Tomas and his two brothers carrying Henry Hubbard, weak and malnourished; Mother Goose cries "Henry!" (02:01:05, 02:01:09, 02:01:29, 02:01:37).
02:01:51 End of game; next-time preview from 02:01:54 (not lore of this episode).
