Coach Daybreak

Coach Daybreak is the coach of the Owlbears bloodrush team at the Aguefort Adventuring Academy, and Bill Seacaster tells Fabian he has paid him a bribe to accommodate Fabian at tryouts E1·00:07:09 E1·00:08:03. He is a big human in sweatpants and a baseball cap, with a whistle and a giant spear glowing with holy light E1·01:07:57. Adaine's Insight reads Daybreak as a good and decent man, and Kristen, who grew up with him at church, counsels with him about her doubting friend; he says she should cut her off because "she's going straight to Hell" E7·00:35:53 E3·00:28:21. The party later names him a suspect, and Shellford's thoughts show he is one of the teachers who watch the security footage E9·01:13:30 E9·01:25:11. On the bloodrush field he stands with a legion of skeletal players across from the church arch and greets Kristen as "kiddo" E9·01:44:15 E9·01:44:43.

Searching his home, the party finds that he paid for Zayn Darkshadow's apartment, was broke despite a large salary, and made frequent deposits into a trust fund at KVX Bank E11·00:19:43 E11·00:20:05 E11·00:20:31. Brennan says the party gets the sense that he was "the brains of the operation" for the Harvestmen E11·00:21:59. Officially he is found responsible for the attack on Biz Glitterdew and the murder of Zayn Darkshadow E11·01:32:20.
