Sir Keradin Deeproot
Sir Keradin Deeproot is introduced as a tall, muscle-bound carrot paladin in gleaming white armor with a white cape bearing the Bulb and a huge green-headed mace CC E3·01:37:08. His card calls him Sworn Knight and Paladin of the Bulbian Church CC E3·01:37:24. He greets Lapin in the light of the Bulb, and the Pontifex introduces them CC E3·01:37:02 CC E3·01:37:33.
Keradin is the Pontifex's carrot paladin, a Vegetanian knight who carries the Mace of the Faith CC E4·00:03:05 CC E13·00:37:20. In the tournament he refuses a deal and says the Bulb will decide, and he fights Amethar CC E4·00:20:58. He carries two poisoned daggers of pure water, and when arrested says he was supposed to execute the King CC E4·01:12:19 CC E4·01:26:11 CC E4·01:53:47. In the cathedral fight he steps out of the shadows after Liam's Hunter's Mark, beats Liam, attacks Preston, and kills Lapin with his mace CC E6·00:30:36 CC E6·00:30:46 CC E6·01:29:30 CC E6·01:41:50. He leads about thirty knights toward Castle Candy and reaches the hut as the party flees CC E10·00:11:47 CC E12·02:12:12. Saccharina says he came to the nunnery when she was young CC E11·02:03:12.
In the last battle Liam tells him in Bulbian that the Bulb does not consider him, and later kills him with arrows CC E17·00:12:02 CC E17·01:25:17. In Ally's vignette he is revived and kept in prison with the Pontifex, and Brennan calls the two incredibly resurrected CC E17·02:15:21 CC E17·02:20:59.
