Jawbone is at the polling station with a straw hat. The drinks are flowing with the guidance counselor present. There is another member of the faculty here with a spectral tattoo gun, Eugenia Shadow-

0:02:04 Ally: Hello, one and all. Welcome back to another thrilling adventure of "Dimension 20: Fantasy High Junior Year". I'm your dungeon master… [pauses looking at Brennan] Brennan Lee Mulligan. [all laughing]

0:02:16 Brennan: See, everyone thinks it's gonna be easy, but you always miss a word or two.

0:02:39 Brennan: Folks, the episode [coughing] last week— almond. Last week, a trip to the Mountains of Chaos had us Legend Lore an ancient carving of the imperial House of Sunstone, a house of giantkin that had taken over the Mountains of Chaos in ages past and eventually become the Cliffbreakers, those mortals who worked with and eventually betrayed Bakur, who had taken their goddess of summer and the dawn and shaped her over centuries of conquest into a goddess of war, wrath, and fire. We came back to Elmville and did some snooping in Ruben Hopclap's manor overlooking Lake Shimmerstone, as well as Porter's office. We saw an unbelievable- Porter's immense power, you know, slicing the obelisk in the barbarian classroom, stomping the ground and stunning all of our heroes. And we've learned everything they needed for the ritual. What did they need for the ritual? They needed the true name of the goddess, which they do not have. They instead have the name Bakarath.

0:03:45 Lou: I'd worship Bakarath.

0:03:45 Emily: Me too. He's the god of gambling.

0:03:47 Lou: Exactly. Many old men do worship Bakarath.

0:03:56 Brennan: Burth Bakarath. [singing] ♪ What the world needs now, is rage, sweet rage ♪ They needed a change in the bylaws, which only the principal can do, but of course there is no principal right now. So instead, the student body president can do it, who will be elected as of midnight tonight, when the votes will be counted. But of course, the only votes that'll count are the ones that make it to the school. Ay-ay-ay. We also discovered a lot of other things they needed, they already have. Soil suffused with the energy of the shatter stars, a population within Elmville made wrathful and angry by Ruben's performance at Frosty Fair, a protective shroud provided by the Nightmare King as storms encircle Elmville. And indeed, the plan to take all of Elmville and rip it from the Material Plane to form a new divine domain, not for Ankarna, but for her new incarnation, Porter Cliffbreaker. With all of that being said-

0:05:01 Emily: In his notes, did we see… 'Cause I know this man is coming up with his god name.

0:05:06 Siobhan: Oh, yeah.

0:05:06 Emily: Did we see him workshopping some god names for himself?

0:05:09 Siobhan: He's not gonna be the god, Porter.

0:05:11 Brennan: It looks like he truly thinks Porter is a great name for a god.

What we're gonna do right now is you guys spent all of this day getting ready for the big campaign event/birthday party at Seacaster Manor based on some advice from Mazey Phaedra. All of the school is here. So anybody that has not already voted at school is here next to an election booth at this banging party. Aelwyn also has this place done up to a T. Guards and Wards, multiple Symbol spells, multiple Glyphs of Warding.

0:05:50 Brennan: She also has left her abjurative ward around Seacaster Manor. So Seacaster Manor itself just has sort of a wall of hit points around it.

0:05:59 Emily: All the more reason to fucking drive this thing into the gym.

0:06:04 Murph: We do have to take this to the gym, Fabian.

Mazey Phaedra, here. So the only other students that are sort of allied friends with you are Mazey and Ragh. Ragh's not even a student anymore. Ragh's like,

0:09:27 Siobhan: I cast Comprehend Languages so I can talk to the birds. [Emily laughing]

0:09:35 Adaine: Hey.

0:09:36 Emily: I put the orangutan mask on Adaine.

0:09:38 Adaine: A powerful enemy has wronged us today, and we are the friends of the vulture.

0:09:45 Siobhan: And I put on the Skull of the Vulture King.

0:09:47 Brennan: Great.

0:09:47 Emily: And then, do a Persuasion check.

0:09:49 Brennan: So you have an orangutan mask and a vulture beak.

0:09:53 Siobhan: Yes, and I'm speaking Vulture.

0:09:54 Brennan: And you're speaking Vulture. [Siobhan caws]

0:10:05 Ally: For the party. Yeah. Spiritually, mentally. She has See Invisibility. She has cast True Seeing. Who would benefit?

0:10:17 Zac: ...I would take it.

0:10:18 Ally: She's cast True Seeing on Gorgug, Freedom of Movement on Riz, and then for Concentration stuff that's up, Kristen has Spirit Guardians for the first time at a 4th-level.

0:10:32 Ally: And the teddy bear's holding Circle of Power, and K2 has cast Bless on the whole party.

0:10:39 Siobhan: Oh yeah.

0:10:40 Ally: Including Kristen.

0:10:40 Brennan: Unbelievable. So we cut back to that moment where the party's sort of beginning. Fabian, describe for me the moment as the party is kicking off in genuine, when the first big wave of people arrives. This is the moment we ended on last time, but what was the state of the party in that moment we ended on last time?

0:10:58 Lou: I just think there's a pretty... Fabian's created a pretty solid funnel. I think, if anything, I've even put up little curtains that it's like to go to the party, you have to vote. You have to walk through the thing, and as soon as you walk through, you get a glass of bad baby milk, and there's a picture of my face that goes from the ceiling to the floor. [Ally laughing]

0:11:18 Lou: It says, "Happy birthday, me," and then underneath it is just a little banner that says, "And congratulations, President Applebees." [Ally laughing]

0:11:27 Emily: I think Fig made a sign that is in the Rock the Vote font but it says, "Rock the Boat."

0:11:33 Ally: And we're like, oh, is that supposed to be attached to the campaign?

0:11:36 Fabian: Is it a reference to something or?

0:11:37 Adaine: Yeah, like Rock the Vote.

0:11:39 Kristen: Is this like Rock the Vote but you made it boat?

0:11:40 Fabian: What's Rock the Vote?

0:11:41 Fig: Yeah, yeah. But we're in a boat.

0:11:46 Kristen: You decided to make enough decorations around the fact that we were in the boat.

0:11:50 Kristen: And not election night or Fabian's birthday.

0:11:52 Fig: It's a reference to Rock the Vote and the fact that we're on a boat.

0:11:55 Gorgug: You've heard of maritime law, right?

0:11:56 Fabian: Yes, of course. The law of the sea, maritime.

0:12:05 Ally: [to Emily] Our Spirit Guardians are fighting.

0:12:06 Siobhan: I can't believe you said it on camera.

0:12:08 Lou: Everyone who's through bad baby milk is in a pretty solid kinda classic just rager. A bunch of kegs, shit-ton of bad baby milk.

0:12:18 Siobhan: Is the bad baby milk now in little baby bottles?

0:12:21 Lou: You know it.

0:12:21 Siobhan: Hell yeah. Just in a bathtub-

0:12:23 Lou: While you guys were fighting Porter, I was at Party Village getting supplies. Just slowly being like, gold cups or silver cups? Of course we went gold.

0:12:33 Ally: Oh god.

0:12:33 Brennan: As the party is kicking up, kids are coming into Seacaster Manor. You see that Jawbone is handing out pamphlets for people to read as they come through that have the statements made by the campaigns and stuff like that. So you see that the kids have walked through, gotten that, all have their ballots in their hands. So every single kid at the party has a ballot in their hand. They just have to read the pamphlet, write down their choice, return it to the voting booth, and they're good to go. We cut back to the moment where, around the house, ping pong balls [imitating magic whirring], these conjurational runes pick up. You immediately recognize these conjurational runes have an element of celestial/undead magic in them, that there is like an element of the Nightmare King, that these are basically... What they are here to do is a conjuration specialist had said, "I am going to use these to bring the attention of the Nightmare King to this place." It's a homing beacon. As this happens, you all feel [imitates wind whooshing] wind pick up. All of the windows outside of Seacaster Manor fade. They are surrounded by fog and mist. And as the mist picks up, you are [imitates wind whooshing] lifted into the sky. The music is bumping inside, right? [imitates heavy bass music] And as the lightning sort of ripples all the way around [imitates thunder rumbling] all the kids inside go,

0:14:26 Brennan: You see that your banner ripples with the power of all of the illusion magic you've used to disguise yourself, and you see Baby and Baby Baby's face say Baby/Baby Baby: We thought it would be funny.

0:14:37 Fig: I did this. Baby/Baby Baby: You did it.

0:14:40 Brennan: And then, the tiredness and exhaustion fades and that's not happening. : Yes.

0:14:44 Brennan: All right. As you take to the sky, you feel yourself on the edge of a curling arm of the storm being rocketed away from Elmville as the storm spins centered on this place. Half of the manor rips away. The pool comes with you up into the sky. As this happens, there is nothing keeping you aloft other than the force that is hurling you away. You feel that you may be in a prolonged windup of an arm of this deity that is moving you quickly but you're like a ball that's being prepared to be released and thrown, and that's just taking several minutes as it's happening. When you are released, there is nothing that will keep you from spinning, everyone smashing out a window, falling to their deaths, your house crumbling below. It's a bad situation.

0:15:42 Lou: Is the biplane kid here?

0:15:44 Brennan: Sprak LeFevre?

0:15:44 Sprak: I wouldn't miss it for the world, old boy.

0:15:46 Fabian: Sprak, Gorgug, could you fucking… Could you do the thing?

0:15:49 Gorgug: Do the thing?

0:16:08 Brennan: Hell yes. I'm now going to pass out to all of you Seacaster Manor's stats.

0:16:17 Brennan: This is very similar to the Hangvan. There's just a couple of things at the bottom that are a little bit new. First of all, you will see that Seacaster Manor has an AC of 15. It has 400 hit points, and the shield ward that Aelwyn's put on it has 100. It has a damage threshold of 15. That damage threshold doesn't pick up until the shields go down.

0:16:38 Brennan: Speed of 80. Fires can start.

0:16:40 Emily: I really like just seeing, "Fires can start".

0:16:43 Lou: Yeah.

0:16:43 Siobhan: Yeah. What does that mean?

0:16:45 Brennan: Hey.

0:16:46 Lou: They can happen?

0:16:46 Murph: Theoretically?

0:16:48 Emily: If someone threw a Fireball, then we could have sustained fire that we have to continue-

0:16:51 Zac: And lightning.

0:16:52 Siobhan: And lightning.

0:16:52 Brennan: Yes. Lightning could also start it.

0:16:56 Brennan: The helmsman will be rolling Dex saves for the vehicle. It's a water vehicle proficiency. There are, I believe, 118 cannons aboard the Hangman.

0:17:08 Brennan: Cannons need a three-person crew. It takes an action to load a cannon, action to aim it, and one action to fire it.

0:17:13 Ally: Wow.

0:17:13 Brennan: But three people can do that in a row on the same turn. Carpenter can make tool check DC equal to the missing HP of the Hangman divided by 10, rolls 5d8 hit points plus Intelligence.

0:17:26 Emily: What tool check? Would a forgery kit count?

0:17:30 Brennan: I'm afraid not. Let's call it a relevant tool check. [Emily laughing]

0:17:34 Brennan: The election. There are A Persuasion check equals the amount of students you can convince to vote times five. So that's getting people at the party to return their ballots to Jawbone. And the final ship action here in the storm is running the party. The threat of the party going badly is total panic. If you guys get to a point of total panic, kids will drop their ballots. They will run amok. They will not return their voting cards, and that will be a bad situation. So, basically, all of your character actions are in one column, and then ship actions are in another. Right?

0:18:15 Lou: As the birthday boy/most popular kid in the school, do I have advantage on anything?

0:18:20 Brennan: I will say that due to— you set popularity as your number one track.

0:18:23 Lou: It's all I cared about.

0:18:25 Brennan: Every single time, you may roll either election or running the party checks with advantage.

0:18:30 Ally: Nice.

0:18:31 Lou: Whichever one Fig doesn't do.

0:18:33 Murph: I also have Reliable Talent, so I also can't get below a 20-something.

0:18:38 Ally: Nice.

0:18:38 Murph: So we can switch off maybe.

0:18:40 Zac: I can do tool checks pretty well.

0:18:42 Siobhan: Great. I will do cannon 'cause none of the rest of these stats are good for me.

0:18:46 Murph: Yeah, I get a-

0:18:46 Siobhan: But the wizard is on the gun. Finally, Adaine has gotten a gun. [Brennan laughing]

0:18:55 Brennan: So, our first initiative. This is essentially your guys' initiative that takes not over the span of six seconds but more like your first series of actions as you feel Seacaster Manor [imitates air whooshing] moving through space. You see Jawbone kinda look over and say,

0:19:11 J: Uh, kids, it's gotten pretty foggy out there.

0:19:14 Brennan: Looking around and says,

0:19:14 J: Are we still in Elmville? What's going on?

0:19:19 Fabian: Kind of. We had a whole plan, you know, because the votes have to be in by midnight. So our thought was we will take the house to the gym.

0:19:31 Brennan: You turn around and see that the entire party is holding drinks looking at you say this. Give me a Deception check. : All right.

0:19:36 Ally: You've got this. [die rolling]

0:19:41 Siobhan: Oh, no. Absolutely not.

0:19:43 Ally: [laughing] Yeah. [Emily laughs]

0:19:46 Zac: It's that fucking brown dice that is always the one that-

0:19:48 Lou: Stop. Siobhan takes the offending die and chucks it out of the dome.

0:19:50 Brennan: Look out.

0:19:51 Ally: You threw that at a person.

0:19:51 Siobhan: I'm so sorry.

0:19:55 Siobhan: And he understands why. He understands. [Ally laughing]

Basically, every railing, every gunnel, every horizontal line on the ship comes alive with arcano-tech brilliance as electricity surges through the ship. You see that as the ship is being hurled, there is still something moving it, but the ship now seems to have a sort of buoyancy. It's not just the wind holding it aloft. It's also the fact that this thing seems to rest, and it finds buoyancy in just pure water vapor itself. Adaine, that is gonna be your turn.

But instead, the ship [imitates wind whooshing] skids off into sort of this endless storm cover. You would guess that you're way past the fucking highway. You might be past Loam Farm at this point.

0:30:13 Brennan: You're way outside of the bounds of Elmville, and you can see the roiling storm sort of swirling over Elmville as you stay there. But the ship just sort of sits there. At the beginning of your next round, the Cloud Rider Engine has been fixed as you see Sprak goes,

In the center of Elmville, past the horizon, you see [imitates lightning crackling] a shock of red lightning move up [imitates lightning crackling] seek to pierce the sky up above you, past where the vapor makes it invisible, and you see it go to connect and hit [imitates lightning fizzling] and fizzle, connecting with nothing.

0:35:16 Fig: Okay. Let's drive towards the red lightning.

0:35:20 Brennan: From miles away you hear [roar of rage] [Brennan imitates clouds roiling] Clouds roil. As they do, all the ping pong balls float and throughout the party [imitates balls whirring] flash, and for a moment, different runes appear within them. [imitates runes pinging] Red, white, green, black, and finally [imitates lightning crackling] lightning blue. As they appear, you feel something [imitates air whooshing] moving in the shadows around you. As it appears and approaches, you hear booming in the distance, the voice of Oisín calling out. [chanting in foreign language] And, appearing out of the vapor, dragons begin to encircle the ship. The smallest are the size of elephants, but there is one much larger one. This one's circling around over in this direction. One of them is gonna go ahead, almost moving to land on the ship itself. You have a readied action, Riz Gukgak. You see there is a larger one sort of in the back of the ship over there. One kind of strafing in from the side [imitates dragon screeching] as they begin to swoop in.

0:36:50 Lou: Fucking get him, Riz. [Murph screaming] [dice rolling]

0:37:43 Brennan: Boom! For the first time in ages, the cannons of the Hangman fire.

0:38:02 Brennan: A dragon blasted out of the sky. The two other dragons remaining [imitates dragon hissing] these huge, frog-like glands swell at the back of their cheeks as boiling, viscous acid with a lime-green glow [imitates dragon gasping] collects in these pouches and two lines of it blast the ship. Each of them are attacking both the ship and Gorgug in this moment. I'm gonna need Dexterity saving throws from Gorgug for himself, and then a Dex save for the ship as well.
