Goldenhoard tells the students he once died and was brought back, seeing a plain of gold and the dragon Bahamut, and says gold is "a very spiritual thing for my people" E3·00:23:27 E3·00:22:40 E3·00:23:13. Fig keeps calling him "Goldenrod" and flirting with him E3·00:15:10 E3·00:56:15. He hires Gilear Faeth and sends Fig to "real bard class" E7·00:28:09. At midyear he cheerfully counts "four faculty deaths" and introduces Gorthalax the Insatiable as the new coach E11·00:59:18.
Acting as principal while lamenting that Arthur Aguefort used to handle such things, he tells the arrested party to kill whoever they have to and the school will pay for the resurrections E15·00:24:39 E15·00:24:54. The party works out that Goldenhoard is Kalvaxus E15·01:10:35. He is the sole chaperone at prom, where the KVX Bank beside the school explodes to reveal a mountain of gold E15·01:54:33 E16·00:38:59. In the final battle Kalvaxus, "AKA Vice Principal fucking Goldenhoard", is killed E17·00:48:49.
