Spearia Mentha

Spearia Mentha is Liam's mother, a Vegetanian woman made of spearmint leaves who is one of the partners of Liam's father, in a flashback to Liam's childhood CC E7·00:16:49. Brennan describes her as a calm, witchy, devout priestess of the Sweetening Path and of the old spirits CC E7·00:16:49. She greets young Liam gently and says his offer to go to Castle Candy and be a ward there is brave CC E7·00:17:52 CC E7·00:18:13. She tells him that the truth about the spirits makes some people angrier than it should and that he must be careful CC E7·00:19:42.

Spearia is Liam's mother, a priestess of the Sweetening Path, and the beloved of Duke Joren Jawbreaker CC E7·00:16:49 CC E13·00:06:52. In the flashback she says his parents agree that he should go to Castle Candy as a ward CC E7·00:19:42. When he calls himself grossly neglected by his brothers she answers "That is full abuse" CC E7·00:19:21. Brennan says she is one of Joren's oldest partners and that Liam comes from the one marriage held in a Bulbian church CC E9·00:07:37.

In CC_12 Ruby spies her in a cottage, tied up and speaking with Grissini, with green robes, Candian spiritual paint and minty leaves growing from her face CC E12·00:18:51. Ruby finds her tied up and she asks if Ruby is going to rescue her CC E12·01:13:39. After she is freed she says "Let's do this, let's get out of here" CC E12·01:14:07. In CC_13 she thanks the party for rescuing her and Joren, feeds Joren sap from her wrist, and gives Liam a long hug CC E13·00:06:18 CC E13·00:06:52 CC E13·00:07:27. She says "I'm an empath," hums over Saccharina, and says the monastery needs to be saged from bottom to top CC E13·00:12:46 CC E13·00:14:59. At the war council she supports getting back into the Concord so that Saccharina can fight from inside, and she asks for an escort through the mountains CC E13·00:56:18 CC E13·01:04:38.

At Castle Manylicks in CC_15 she is among the family who greet the party, and Brennan says she swears in Saccharina with a full pagan Sweetening Path ritual with no mention of the Bulb CC E15·01:06:21 CC E15·01:15:21.
