Vercadian Protector Android

In the first episode, in Sidney's flashback boardroom, the Handy Andi CEO lists a Vercadian protector droid among the tools "anyone with real McCoy" is going to get, alongside an Erotica Ann and a top of the line majordomo SOE1·00:32:36. It is only named in his pitch, and no droid appears SOE1·00:32:36.

In the first episode the Handy Andi CEO names the Vercadian protector droid in a sales pitch SOE1·00:32:36. In the tenth episode Brennan shows a twelve-foot-tall Vercadian protector droid in a snappy little blazer in the corner of a museum SOE10·02:28:47. It tells the crew "Many have attempted to steal the artifacts" SOE10·02:29:31. In the eleventh episode a twelve-foot Vercadian droid at Uncle B.O.B's Fantanimalland sells Gunnie a maple cake for two credits SOE11·00:49:41 SOE11·00:50:15. When Guernican Art Squad members open fire, it throws up a shield and says "This customer's engaging in a transaction" SOE11·00:50:25 SOE11·00:50:34.

In the thirteenth episode Brennan confirms that Brutus is a Vercadian SOE13·00:38:45. In the fourteenth episode Sidney asks Brutus how to tell Vercadian protector droids that the crew are friends, and Brutus opens an android channel into her mind and gives her a frequency with a mantra: "We fight to learn. We learn to fight. We wait and watch" SOE14·01:02:14 SOE14·01:02:26. In the fifteenth episode Sidney repeats the mantra to the Vercadians, and one answers "We're here to collect a contract. These matters will be resolved between those of organic flesh" SOE15·00:19:59 SOE15·00:20:09. One says its crafters, the Andromedicones, sent the Vercadians to protect their interests: "Vercadians serve, we protect, and we wait" SOE15·00:20:34.

In the sixteenth episode a giant Vercadian protector at the prison exit incinerates the UFTP soldiers in the room, downloads something from the comms station, asks Gunnie for the tech to control droids, stabs a scramble dart into himself, and sets off Sidney's ion grenade in himself SOE16·01:48:03 SOE16·01:48:57 SOE16·01:50:05. He then says "Funny how competent those prisoners were" SOE16·01:50:25. Another Vercadian in the hangar tells the prisoners "return your cells and you will come to no harm" SOE16·02:23:03. It resists Riva's Calm emotions and is torn to ribbons by Sidney's ship gun SOE16·02:25:39 SOE16·02:28:31. In the seventeenth episode two squadrons of Vercadian protector droids warp in outside the ship, with Veep 909 floating among them SOE17·01:14:41. In the last episode the Vercadian Protector Droids flank the Wurst, and the ones they light up bring down UFTP fighters SOE18·00:12:42 SOE18·00:16:22. Afterwards at Barry's Big Win Casino they are packed up with the Warfare Whitneys, and a chorus of them says "to meet the mother" SOE18·02:58:26.
