Guernican Art Squad

In the tenth episode a news broadcast, with Jimmy the Snout reporting, says the theater critic Rupert Quasar is dead at the age of 93, killed by a plasma grenade, in yet another terrorist attack from the Guernican art squad SOE10·00:58:43 SOE10·00:59:12. It says some think the strike was retribution for a scathing review in which the critic called the group's previous attacks derivative rehashings SOE10·00:59:12. The broadcast adds that the group has released a statement saying the technology to complete their ace up the sleeve has recently been discovered SOE10·00:59:41.

In the tenth episode a news broadcast blames the Guernican art squad for the plasma grenade killing of the theater critic Rupert Quasar SOE10·00:59:12. In the eleventh episode Brennan describes people in black ribbed turtlenecks, jaunty black berets and full gas masks SOE11·00:28:21, one of whom says "Place seems a little sort of passé to me" SOE11·00:28:55 and later "Mama Bear, we got him" SOE11·00:32:22. Brennan says gas collapses Barry as he runs to the elevator shaft, and voices around him discuss whether his name is a commentary SOE11·00:57:30 SOE11·00:57:50. Arcadia Prime says she is the leader of the Guernican Art Squad, the galaxy's most feared performance art group, and that she wants Gnosis SOE11·01:59:03 SOE11·02:00:03.

In the twelfth episode the Wurst crashes through the warehouse roof, and Brennan says the Guernican Art Squad is in complete disarray SOE12·00:07:44 SOE12·00:08:20. In the seventeenth episode Arcadia Prime hails the captains of the Wurst, "it is us, the Guernican Art Squad", promises "our most glorious Magnum Opus", and Brennan says the squad has commandeered an Amercadian vessel SOE17·00:37:57. In the last episode Arcadia Prime calls out "Get that hot dog!" and Brennan says the Guernican Tigers and command ship go after the Wurst SOE18·01:10:48. Later Arcadia Prime says "We are going to use my living body to power the Anti-Causality Engine" SOE18·02:33:01. She then says "We're going back to Guernica", and Brennan says the ship jumps away faster than light SOE18·02:33:32.
