Captain K.P. Hob

Captain K.P. Hob, played by Brennan Lee Mulligan, is the largest goblin at the Goblin Court, a bugbear-like figure with a canine nose, long tufted ears, a black military uniform with gold brocade and a blood-red sash of medals, a cavalry hat and a tall halberd, and no pants CFF E1·00:27:01 CFF E1·00:28:50. He is described as rigid in form and speech and swears by "the code of goblin chivalry" CFF E1·00:35:59. The Goblin King tells him he is a revered war hero and entrusts him with Boil and Blemish at the Bloom CFF E1·00:33:37. Hob's thoughts are of the cancelled marriage of Princess Grabalba and Prince Apollo, which undid his hard-won victories against the Unseelie, and he has the names of those he blames CFF E1·00:39:30.

Hob is the Goblin Court's captain, who comes to the Bloom to look after Boil and Blemish and is later made a major CFF E1·00:33:37 CFF E9·00:52:39 CFF E9·01:00:39. At the first lawn he intimidates the gathering into silence about the cancelled Apollo and Grabalba match, insisting that no engagement was ever announced CFF E1·01:23:29 CFF E1·01:24:42. He spars with Andhera, asks him to escort the viscountess, apologizes to the cousins for his words on their military, and, reading Gwyndolin's thoughts, asks "So you admit it is not Gwyndolin?"
