The three great spirits of New York

Kingston asks the Unicorn whether she means the juicy cockroach, and the Unicorn says she has not seen the juicy cockroach or the spicy pigeon UC2 E9·02:03:50 UC2 E9·02:03:54. She says they are "the three animals you think of when you think of New York City": a juicy cockroach, a spicy pigeon and a regular unicorn, which is her UC2 E9·02:04:00.

The three great spirits of New York are the Unicorn, Perry the spicy pigeon and Marty the juicy cockroach, whom Brennan's recap calls the three spirits of Kugrash UC2 E9·02:04:00 UC2 E10·00:00:20. The Unicorn calls them the three totems of New York and says she is the only one that is a mythical creature, so she can move freely in Nod UC2 E10·00:05:55. Nod says the oldest sibling is strengthened whenever people like those Kugrash and the three spirits looked after are isolated or forgotten UC2 E10·01:54:46. Perry sends the party on to Marty, who leads the Monastery of the Sacred Rat UC2 E11·00:35:32 UC2 E12·00:00:22.

The party concludes that bringing all three totems together could call Kugrash's attention back, and that the three spirits are what they need for the hatching UC2 E12·02:00:55 UC2 E13·01:56:42. Ricky feels the connection to the unicorn, Perry and Marty and could summon all of them in a moment of need UC2 E13·00:42:45. In UC2_17 Ricky invokes the three spirits, and Perry the Pigeon, Marty the Cockroach and the Unicorn appear in an explosion of light UC2 E17·02:06:13 UC2 E17·02:07:40. In UC2_18 they come out with Rowan and the baby dragon, and Brennan says they might fade now that their magic has returned to hatch the new dragon UC2 E18·01:26:03 UC2 E18·01:33:43. They swirl around young Langston and Sofia, and the Unicorn says that as long as someone is here to tend to the forgotten of New York, they will be at their side UC2 E18·01:37:42 UC2 E18·01:39:16.
