Alejandro Ortiz
Alejandro Ortiz is the head of the Gramercy Occult Society, whose card calls him Archmage UC E1·02:03:05. Brennan describes him as a very old, extremely rotund man in his nineties with a white mustache UC E1·02:02:21. He says "I've been a wizard in New York City for what, 65 years?" UC E1·02:06:11.
Alejandro is an old wizard and the head of the Gramercy Occult Society, who says he speaks five languages and is 92, later 94 UC E5·01:04:21 UC E7·00:20:08 UC E15·01:09:01. He is the grandfather of Ana and Amelia, tells Pete "I'm not a cop", and takes Pete's Juul, saying a wizard is in his debt UC E3·00:27:44 UC E3·00:33:01. He scolds Pete with "People died!" and argues the Order exists because of the danger of the dream realms UC E7·00:12:46 UC E7·01:38:56.
He holds the spell that calls the train to Nod, and collapses with exhaustion when it arrives UC E8·00:27:19 UC E8·01:31:12. In Nod he exclaims "Nod, Land of Dreams" UC E9·00:02:43. He goes with Sofia to the Pearly Gates, and says of his wife "I have missed her for quite some time" UC E9·01:18:46 UC E9·01:04:31. When Pete calls his name three times he arrives, and reads the runes: "the door is open" UC E14·02:28:21 UC E14·02:23:05.
In the last battle he makes a door out of the phylactery, and a ray sends him backward into the tornado, gone UC E16·00:12:06 UC E16·01:42:30. His last words: "She'll be good for the Society, my friend. I'm off to see my darling wife" UC E16·02:13:35.
