The Black Pit
The Black Pit is a music venue; Fig Faeth's bedroom walls are covered with tour lists of who will be playing there E1·00:42:02.
The party goes to The Black Pit, a brick-walled venue downtown in the seedy area across the river, guarded by a huge bouncer at the door E5·01:25:46. Riz Gukgak's investigation shows it stands in a long row of former warehouses with no alleys, courtyard or back door E5·01:28:21. Brennan calls it "Elmville's number one music venue" when its patrons burst into vampires, werewolves and zombies across its rooms E6·00:01:07. The next morning police tape surrounds it as a crime scene E7·00:01:37. In the epilogue Fig announces that her band Fig and the Cig Figs has shows at The Black Pit E17·01:16:42.
