Jackson points Sofia to a fire escape that goes past the third floor and up into a gray sky UC E7·01:14:42. At the top of it she finds an enormous monastery in the clouds, gray, with walls of sidewalk squares, where monks walk on the walls and train under a yin-yang symbol with a golden half and a purple-pink-blue half UC E7·01:30:51 UC E7·01:31:20.

The Monastery of the Midnight Sun is the home of Jackson Wei's Order of the Concrete Fist, reached by a fire escape that climbs from Staten Island into the clouds, where everything is sidewalk and the monks walk on walls UC E7·01:09:22 UC E7·01:14:42 UC E7·01:30:51.
