Longfoot's camera
Lawrence Longfoot, a hare and newspaper magnate, takes out a camera with a bulb at the squire's party MM E1·01:35:55 MM E1·01:39:44. Brennan says that instead of photographing the squire's gifts, he takes a photo of Sylvester raising his glass with Squire Badger in the background MM E1·01:39:44.
Longfoot calls it his "newfangled camera" in MM_02 and, seeing it on the table, asks to take a picture of Sylvester and Buckster for the paper MM E2·00:53:39 MM E2·00:53:45 MM E2·00:53:54. In MM_03, after Squire Badger's body is found, Sylvester asks Longfoot to photograph him with Mrs. Molesly; the bulb goes off and Mrs. Molesly wobbles on her feet with wide eyes for about thirty seconds MM E3·01:05:25 MM E3·01:06:04. Sylvester then says that her pupils dilated at the earlier flashbulb too, and that she has suffered from epilepsy several times that night MM E3·01:07:43. Later in the same scene Longfoot keeps taking photos for the paper MM E3·01:19:39.
In MM_10 Daisy looks out of the window and sees that Longfoot's camera is broken MM E10·01:31:42. Brennan says the fine ground glass under the study door was from the camera: the flash that triggered Mrs. Molesly's fit in the study was the camera's own, and the crunch heard from the masked figure on top of Loam Hall was the camera breaking under the point of Gangie Green's shovel MM E10·01:36:15 MM E10·01:36:31. In the same scene Lawrence Longfoot is revealed to be Fletcher Cottonbottom MM E10·01:33:21 MM E10·01:35:13.
