Loam Hall

Loam Hall is the Brockhollow family's old manor house, where the party for the squire's guests is held and where the investigators work through a stormy night MM E1·01:07:05 MM E10·00:00:38. Brennan explains that it is underground, so the front door is where guests come in, and that a servant's elevator was installed MM E2·00:50:02. Colonel Hawkins says the house was modernized no more than seven or eight years ago, when the elevators and the lights were put in, and that is when the desk in the study came out of storage MM E3·01:20:41 MM E3·01:21:48. Mr. Gilfoyle says it was once a Roman fortress and has an oubliette in the wine cellar MM E7·02:18:19.

Brennan says that Connor McCabbage has been living in the attic of Loam Hall, and at the end Daisy and Sylvester Cross are with him at the top of the tower MM E10·00:33:11 MM E10·01:26:23. Afterwards Jeremy says the family is destitute and will almost certainly lose Loam Hall, and Buckster Boyd proposes to back the family as a financier MM E10·02:28:25 MM E10·02:29:53.
