Kristen's Bible

Kristen's Bible is the leather Bible that Kristen Applebees always holds, with her name engraved on the cover E1·00:10:34. At school Ragh Barkrock grabs it and throws it into a vat of creamed corn E1·01:47:51, and Adaine Abernant pulls it out with Mage Hand, covered in creamed corn E1·01:48:21 E1·01:48:23.

Kristen first suspects that Ragh's throw aggravated the cursed corn E3·00:14:25. In a fight with vampires the book flies open, Kristen reads "I can do all things through corn who strengthens me" E6·00:35:14 E6·00:35:19, and the light of the sun from it turns the undead E6·00:38:11. Later she guesses that Zayn Darkshadow slipped the hellmouth page into her bible when he pushed her down, and that the throw into the corn is "how this all started" E9·00:45:19. As her faith changes, Ally says Kristen writes the words of the philosopher spirit guardians "over the words in my corn bible" E12·01:52:06. In the final battle Ally proposes casting Spiritual Weapon on her "book of Helio" for Jawbone O'Shaughnessey to throw down Kalvaxus's throat E17·00:24:21, and Brennan says her spiritual weapon is now a big floating block-letter yes instead of a cob of corn E17·00:24:36. Ally then drops the plan: "Never mind, I don't wanna do that." E17·00:24:58.
