Jack's mast

Jack's mast is a massive, thick piece of wood, almost like a support or part of a mast, that the old ratfolk Jack Brakkow carries hanging over his shoulder LEV E1·01:48:59. In a vision from the stone, Jack sees the wave hit him in a shipwreck two years earlier, with the mast that saves his life in his arms LEV E1·01:51:33. Jack turns the large piece of mast over and sits on it like a bench LEV E1·02:01:47. Later he grabs it and picks it up in a defensive position LEV E1·02:20:42.

Jack's mast is a large piece of wood like part of a ship's mast that Jack carries over his shoulder from his first appearance, and in the vision of the wreck it is the mast that saves his life LEV E1·01:48:59 LEV E1·01:51:33. He uses it as a weapon against Marcid with Rage and Reckless Attack LEV E2·00:11:33. When the mast finishes swinging round at the lake, mist emerges from it and ghostly spirits begin to swirl around the mage LEV E3·00:55:34. At the Gold Gardens Garthy remarks that Jack looks like he has been carrying a chunk of ship's mast around for years, and later says the mast is coming up to their quarters too, and Jack says he can pick it up in the morning LEV E4·00:54:06 LEV E4·01:09:50 LEV E4·01:10:16.

On the Ramble Jack uses a grappling hook and rope to climb, then uses the mast to shove Clive off the balcony, and later swings it at two skeletons in one swing LEV E5·01:12:06 LEV E5·01:13:54 LEV E5·01:49:04. In the attic Jack uses the mast to shield himself from the skeletons' blows while he tends Myrtle LEV E6·00:38:17. At the end Jack fixes it as the ship's bowsprit LEV E6·02:01:55.
