Times Square

Times Square is first mentioned with Broadway, where a show of Midsummer Nights "actually hasn't opened yet" UC E1·01:49:00. At the end of the episode it is empty and covered in snow and ice, with an enormous chrysalis of ice at its center and SantaCon clones swarming around it UC E1·02:08:09 UC E1·02:08:13.

Times Square is a central place of the story: the party arrives at its southern end, finds it snowy and frozen with a chrysalis of ice, and fights mutated Santa clones there UC E1·02:08:13 UC E2·00:02:32. A decapitated body dances up Broadway and collapses by the Sbarro's, and Times Square is cleared of the mutants UC E2·00:56:02 UC E2·01:09:08.

On New Year's Eve the ball drop in Times Square becomes the planned battle site, with a crowd and a news broadcast, while Rowan thinks it extremely gauche to go there UC E14·02:32:19 UC E15·01:55:23 UC E15·01:56:19. The party finds itself "back where it all started", the ball drops, the time stone fused with Robert's phylactery shatters and time suspends UC E16·00:01:26. In the last episode the party fights in the eye of the hurricane at the ball drop on platforms of building chunks UC E17·00:01:00 UC E17·00:08:23. Afterwards the shattered time stone is swept up from the center of Times Square UC E17·01:31:01.
