Thirsting Blade Dark Excalibur Mega Genesis
Brennan tells the party that the sword in the stone is not Excalibur, since the real one would be back in England, but some kind of dream weapon UC2 E9·02:06:19. Cody, holding the Thirsting Blade, says "I am the wielder of the ultimate Double Blade, Thirsting Blade" while he tries to take the sword from the stone UC2 E9·02:16:08. The sword announces "SOUL MELD! DOUBLE XP! WIN CONDITION!" UC2 E9·02:16:34. Brennan says the Thirsting Blade and Excalibur become the Double Blade: Dark Excalibur / Thirsting Blade, one fused double weapon that weighs easily 275 pounds UC2 E9·02:16:45 UC2 E9·02:17:04.
The Thirsting Blade Dark Excalibur Mega Genesis is Cody's triple sword, made when the Questing Blade, renamed the Thirsting Blade, fused with the sword from the stone to form a double blade, and then grew a third blade UC2 E9·02:16:45 UC2 E10·02:01:53. Brennan calls it a giant fork UC2 E11·00:21:03 UC2 E11·00:21:09, and the three blades speak in UC2_11: the Thirsting Blade complains of exhaustion and Dark Excalibur is pompous UC2 E11·01:16:22 UC2 E11·01:17:00. Mega Genesis says "What's up, it's Mega Genesis" UC2 E11·01:17:11.
The sword is heavy: players estimate it at about 260 pounds, and in UC2_12 its rules give a minus two to attack rolls and plus 30 damage, with disadvantage on every attack, a DC 15 Athletics check each round, and extra necrotic damage on a natural 20 UC2 E11·01:16:01 UC2 E12·00:18:24 UC2 E12·00:18:46. Ricky puts corks on the ends of the blades, and Cody wants to fix the Questing Blade UC2 E12·01:44:01 UC2 E12·01:46:30. In UC2_13 Cody and Ricky disassemble the weapon into three separate weapons at a Queens forge, and Cody pawns Mega Genesis and Dark Excalibur to pay rent while keeping the Questing Blade UC2 E13·01:13:18 UC2 E13·01:21:57 UC2 E14·00:02:49.
