Key to the City

In La Gran Gata's bodega the cat sniffs that something is missing from the shelves UC E6·01:49:51. The party sees a shattered ornate display case with "The Key to the City" written under it in gold UC E6·01:50:06. Ricky casts Locate Object and feels the key moving quickly away, across the bridge to Manhattan UC E6·01:51:55 UC E6·01:52:03.

The Key to the City was kept in a display case in La Gran Gata's bodega, and it is gone when the case is found shattered UC E6·01:50:06. Esther calls it "a very powerful magical artifact" whose signature should be easy to read UC E7·00:23:04. Ricky says "Someone took the key to the city" UC E7·00:14:02. In Nod, Sofia says someone stole it from the bodega, and Misty says "He has the key to the city" while Kingston asks whether that person could open the door UC E9·00:50:17 UC E9·00:50:18 UC E9·00:50:20.

In the Moses fight Robert Moses declares "I hold the key to the city!" and Brennan describes the key taken out and clattering to the ground UC E14·01:33:07 UC E14·01:33:09. At the end of his ritual the spectral image of the key shoots into the lock of the Golden Door in Nod and the door opens UC E14·02:00:18. After he is dead, the key to the city lies on the dais as though Robert discarded it once the ritual was done UC E14·02:29:57.
