Dale is only talked about in the first episode, as Sofia's ex-husband UC E1·00:32:17. A woman says of him "he's not from around here" UC E1·00:33:07. He liked watching the deer UC E1·00:32:55.
Dale is Sofia's husband, who left her in her telling UC E1·00:29:42. In the Pearly Gates he appears as a jacked man in a white button-up shirt and skinny tie, with a name tag from his accounting firm UC E9·01:19:25. He tells Sofia "I'm not alive anymore" UC E9·01:21:16. He says "Isabella is the reason that you haven't seen me, but not for the reason you think" UC E9·01:20:54. His parting words are "Tell Jackson I said hi!" UC E9·01:23:13.
His voice is on the wind when Sofia is chosen, "I love you, I'm so proud of you" UC E15·01:29:14. When the Dream kills Sofia, his hand reaches out at the gates UC E16·01:04:33.
