Bob Griivarr

In the sixth episode Brennan says the Griivarr Worlds, eight planets on the edge of the Last Frontier, were bought, developed and are managed by Brzzt Oomph Burble, "You can call me B.O.B.", Griivarr, under the auspices of Griivarr Enterprises SOE6·00:48:13. He says Bob Griivarr discovered a time capsule from early Terran history about the simple recipe for happiness, and that this philosophy caught on like wildfire across the worlds SOE6·00:48:13. Brennan says he became a media mogul and tycoon, almost a secular cultural religious figure like Walt Disney SOE6·00:48:13.

In the sixth episode Brennan describes Bob Griivarr as the founder of the Griivarr Worlds and Griivarr Enterprises, a media mogul who built a philosophy of happiness from an ancient Terran time capsule SOE6·00:48:13. Ally asks whether he is still alive, and Brennan says he is not, though some of his descendants are, including a famous historian and a famous televangelist SOE6·01:47:07 SOE6·01:47:10.

In the tenth episode a looping message in the voice of Uncle Bob welcomes passing ships to the Griivarr Worlds SOE10·00:14:33 and ends "a stranger is just a pal you haven't met yet" SOE10·00:14:59. In the eleventh episode a street hologram of Uncle B.O.B. tells passers-by to slow down because a sidewalk is the outdoors of a living room shared with all your neighbors SOE11·01:45:18.

In the seventeenth episode Uncle Bob appears on the comm station and, as a proud spokesman and owner of Griivarr Enterprises, asks Riva to send over a piece of Griivarr world technology SOE17·00:16:47 SOE17·00:16:53. Brennan says Uncle Bob has been dead for a minute and that an artificial intelligence runs his spirit SOE17·01:12:01. In the last episode Uncle Bob tells the United Free Trade Planets command ship that its backroom dealing against his enterprises, which he left to his kids, is "gonna be a big no-no from your old Uncle Bob", and huge lasers charge up SOE18·00:17:28.
