Evan's wand

Evan Kelmp picks up his wand to put out a chair that was a little on fire, even though he does magic without a wand "all the time" and says "it's awful" MAM E3·00:10:14, MAM E3·00:06:17. In the Chimeron common room booth his wand is out and fully formed, though he did not grab it MAM E3·01:35:04. It is a "deeply messed up" wand that looks kind of like a bone, with a little muscle tissue on it MAM E3·01:35:45, MAM E3·01:36:02, MAM E3·01:36:03.

Evan Kelmp's wand begins as one of four identical wooden sticks from Ace of Wands, which he calls "a good dowel" MAM E1·01:20:31, MAM E1·01:21:01. On the first full school day he says he does not much want to use it MAM E2·00:41:54. He mostly casts without it, and during the month before the first scuppers game he does not cast with it at all, since he can fly without it MAM E3·00:06:17, MAM E3·01:17:21, MAM E3·01:17:26. When he and Dream are pulled to the common room his wand is out and fully formed, "'cause you cannot stop me from giving you this even though you tried", and it looks like a bone with muscle tissue MAM E3·01:35:04, MAM E3·01:36:03. When Jammer pulls Evan free of the voices, he says "I throw the wand away." MAM E3·02:04:15, MAM E3·02:04:27.

In the finale his card lists the wand as dogwood with a parchment core MAM E4·00:02:40. He pulls it out in the argument with his friends and shouts "This is what's on the inside" MAM E4·00:15:33. He points it at the ground to summon his shadow and later levels it at the shadow MAM E4·00:24:55, MAM E4·00:27:05. At the climax, holding Dream's hand, he sends a spell out of what Brennan calls "this nasty bone muscle meat wand" at Tallulah Jillymont's wand MAM E4·02:42:33, MAM E4·02:38:41.
