Blood cobra

After an iron spike pierces his thigh, Evan Kelmp cries "Don't touch my blood!", and a roiling snake of blood bursts out of his leg MAM E2·01:16:29, MAM E2·01:15:59, MAM E2·01:16:36. Aabria says "There's now a giant blood cobra" MAM E2·01:16:52. Dark blood scatters across the ground and swirls up into a serpent that lunges at Sam Black MAM E2·01:16:58.

The blood cobra comes out of Evan Kelmp's wounded leg during Whitney Jammer's failed attempt to summon free weights, which sends an iron spike up through the dormitory floor MAM E2·01:14:38, MAM E2·01:16:52. Sam Black tries to talk to it, telling it "I know you when you were previously inside my friend", and rolls a Charm check MAM E2·01:17:44, MAM E2·01:17:56. The serpent does not answer but matches her calm, then goes back up Evan's leg and into his body MAM E2·01:18:35. Dream seals the wound with fire MAM E2·01:20:41.

Evan says the only other times this happened, it was never resolved that easily: normally he has to eat the snake to get it to go back in his body MAM E2·01:22:04. That same day he tells Nurse David Stitchnit that he "almost killed Sam today with a blood cobra", as a reason he cannot stay without the procedure MAM E3·00:48:50. A month later he still tells Sam that if that snake had hurt her, "that would've been the end for me" MAM E4·00:13:53.
