Headmistress Boudicca Philtrum describes Aqrabus as one of the four houses, with a lacquer black scorpion on a field of hunter green, the house that some call evil and others cunning and resourceful MAM E2·00:14:23. A tearful young student sorted into it has their robes turn green, and the other Aqrabus students bring them over to psych them up MAM E2·00:18:20. Evan Kelmp says he would cry if he ended up in "the scorpion house" MAM E2·00:20:31.

Axelby Killoran says his group only stayed to make sure Penfrew Lairmsbury "doesn't like, you know, like actually set anything important on fire", and that Chimeron shares all its classes with one other group MAM E3·00:25:38, MAM E3·00:26:12. Penfrew Lairmsbury describes his own house as "the house that's full, kind of known for being like, evil and shitty" MAM E3·00:37:58.
