Freight elevator

Brennan says Loam Hall had an elevator installed, which is its version of a servants' entrance because the house is underground, while the front door is where guests come in MM E2·00:50:02. The players hear it when Mr. Gilfoyle walks away, and about a minute later he walks down the hall MM E2·00:50:02.

The freight elevator is the old servants' elevator of Loam Hall, running between the kitchen wing and the hillside above, and Gangie knows it as a freight elevator for servants MM E4·00:33:50 MM E5·00:08:26 MM E5·00:09:19. It is also the way down to the hidden parts of the house: in MM_09 Brennan says it has two doors, the kitchen-wing door on the side opposite the one that opens onto the hillside, and when it descends it opens on the secret basement wing MM E9·00:04:50 MM E9·00:29:25.

Daisy finds a letter D scratched into its baseboard with what looks like a beak, and Brennan says the D is rotated 90 degrees, as if written by someone lying on their side MM E9·01:24:33 MM E9·01:37:59. Later the elevator descends to a candlelit ritual chamber with an altar, and in the finale Brennan says the elevator is trapped at the bottom in the satanic ritual room MM E9·01:39:59 MM E10·00:55:53.
