Marcid remembers him as the man who brought the tiefling Trixie to Bowser's foundry LEV E2·00:23:56. At the altar by the lake the DM presents the same man to Marcid as Lieutenant Mardres and to Jack as his first mate Clive McDoon, alive and breathing and in naval dress LEV E3·00:21:39. Langley calls the stone one that "dear Clive was so willing to place for a price" LEV E3·01:08:32. He leaves with Langley and Alamaria LEV E3·01:09:42.

Brennan's recap calls him the treacherous Clive McDoon, now known as Lieutenant Clive Mardres LEV E5·00:00:15. On the Ramble he commands the soldiers in the balcony room and orders them to kill the heroes LEV E5·00:54:40.
