Hobbert and Frod

Hobbert and Frod are two massive trolls, the guardians of the throne room of the Lord of Shadows BK E1·01:21:19. Hobbert, standing on the left, welcomes the arrivals to the throne room BK E1·01:21:37. When Markus asks whether the doors can be locked, Frod repeats the request back as a question BK E1·01:21:41 BK E1·01:21:52.

Hobbert and Frod are two massive trolls who guard the throne room of the Lord of Shadows, and the running joke around them is that they hate doors BK E1·01:21:19 BK E3·01:49:07. When Lilith kicks down the throne room door, Hobbert says it is their job to not let the door happen, Lilith answers that it happened, and Frod says they will complain to Olag BK E3·01:48:53 BK E3·01:49:07 BK E3·01:49:09 BK E3·01:49:14.

On the airship they burst into the underside of the ship through the hole the mangler chews, and Frod accuses the heroes of making a door happen BK E4·01:31:11 BK E4·01:31:29. Hobbert says they were not supposed to let a door happen and the heroes did it anyway BK E4·01:32:00. At Olag's call they wail on the ship, until the troll pair stops to ask to be taken to see trees and Hobbert asks whether the heroes killed a tree BK E4·01:36:34 BK E4·01:39:06 BK E4·01:40:42. Leiland's Darkness leaves them almost unable to hit anything, and Maggie kicks Hobbert back onto the zeppelin BK E4·01:48:31 BK E4·01:54:32 BK E4·02:03:57. Frod grabs Markus's leg and says that if he likes doors so much, here is a door for him BK E4·02:09:41. Brennan says Hobbert drops with Galfast and Sokhbarr when part of the ship falls away, and that he falls toward the volcano with the goblins BK E4·02:05:06 BK E4·02:18:14. In the end Markus kicks Frod out into the open sky, and he plummets toward the volcano shouting "The most happened door I've ever seen!" BK E4·02:27:32 BK E4·02:27:47 BK E4·02:21:27.

Both trolls are nevertheless in the final battle, where they go in the initiative with Olag's horde BK E6·00:09:36. Markus tells Hobbert that Olag just opened a door in the middle of the Bloodkeep, and Hobbert answers that he likes him but everyone has been opening doors all day and he cannot keep it straight BK E6·00:48:37 BK E6·00:50:04. Frod tells Leiland that he made a door happen again, even without a door BK E6·01:38:03. When the floor opens near the end, Frod fails his save and says he hates this door BK E6·02:36:30 BK E6·02:36:39. Hobbert is the last enemy left, and Leiland's runeblade drives into his belly and he falls lifeless into the void BK E6·02:37:46 BK E6·02:39:59.
