Anvil of Gogmoth

When the group reaches the forge of the Scary Volcano, they see a massive anvil covered in runes at its base BK E1·02:04:13. Separately, a book on crown-forging describes an artifact within that forge, gifted to Zaul'Nazh by Gogmoth himself, that allowed him to first forge the crown and holds that power still BK E1·01:57:41.

The Anvil of Gogmoth is the rune-covered anvil in the forge of the Scary Volcano, where Zaul'Nazh forged his crowns, and it is described in a book as the artifact Gogmoth gave him to forge the crown BK E1·01:57:41 BK E1·02:04:13 BK E2·00:01:21. At the volcano Kasara casts a Banishment spell on it, and it returns when Kasara is hurled into the lava and disappears in a blast of light BK E2·01:11:10 BK E2·01:11:38 BK E2·01:53:30. At the end of the battle Brennan says the anvil is restored BK E2·02:07:17.

A Legend Lore shows that Gogmoth gave it to Zaul'Nazh before any of the circlets were made, and that it has the ability to bind souls and could be used to forge something that reconstitutes him BK E3·00:11:10. The group brings it away with them, though only Maggie and Lilith can carry it BK E3·00:40:15 BK E3·00:40:25. Avanash says that Hamhead asked him to put the anvil in the lava, and the anvil bubbles and burns up in flame BK E3·01:29:13 BK E3·01:29:31.
