Mitch Conlan

Mitch is Pete's father, who has not seen Pete in about six years, and he turns up at the door of Pete's place UC E1·00:17:57 UC E1·00:18:15. He says he had a hard time finding Pete and that they had to pay a private eye to track him down UC E1·00:18:40 UC E1·00:18:58. He carries a box of Pete's stuff down the stairs and says they want Pete to come home UC E1·00:18:41 UC E1·00:19:25. When he starts to say Pete's former name, bubbles pour out of his mouth and lift him into the air UC E1·00:20:22.

Mitch Conlan is Pete's father, who comes to fetch Pete home and is lifted away by bubbles as he starts to say Pete's former name UC E1·00:18:15 UC E1·00:20:22. Later, in a red-light district of Nod, copies of him dressed in bubbles dance on a stage as "Bubbles", and he calls after Pete by his name UC E14·01:16:42 UC E14·01:16:47 UC E14·01:17:13. Pete tells him "I am magic and I had a surge, and I don't know what I did to you, but I did send you maybe to hell" UC E14·01:17:37. Mitch answers that he does not know if it is hell and that he "had a very narrow view of what the world was" UC E14·01:17:50 UC E14·01:18:05.

He asks "Do I live here forever now?", and Brennan says he has basically been in a mind-bending phantasmagoria for the past three weeks UC E14·01:18:27 UC E14·01:19:11. In Ally's epilogue Pete visits him in Nod, where he says "everything I've seen has been the strangest thing ever" and asks if everything there is real UC E17·01:55:04 UC E17·01:55:15 UC E17·01:55:47. After about four months Nod says "I assumed you wanted him to be here forever", and Mitch comes back extremely changed UC E17·01:56:15 UC E17·01:56:24 UC E17·01:56:32. He says he will let his family know he is not dead, calls Pete a good kid, and says "I'll be back sometime because I'm never gonna be normal again" UC E17·01:56:49 UC E17·01:56:55 UC E17·01:56:58.
