Liz Herrera

Liz Herrera is a district attorney of the Unsleeping City, shown on a card, who interviews Kingston UC E7·00:57:11 UC E7·00:57:27. She resents her job in the department, saying she was on track to be the district attorney and now lives "in a fucking cartoon" UC E7·01:00:20 UC E7·01:00:57. Kingston says "I'm sorry we were married" UC E7·01:01:16.

Liz Herrera is Kingston's ex-wife, who was on track to be the district attorney and now has to work in the department that prosecutes pixies UC E7·01:00:07 UC E7·01:00:14 UC E7·01:01:16. In Nod's memories she tells Kingston they could have a house and kids, and when he cannot leave the city she says their lives shouldn't be together UC E9·01:46:10 UC E9·01:46:39.

Kingston says she has been attacked and finds her on life support in St. Owen's intensive care with claw and fang wounds and bits of Umbral Arcana, and a necrotic magic worms toward her heart UC E13·02:06:17 UC E13·02:03:27 UC E13·02:05:11. After the Stock Exchange fight, Sofia beats a vampire to death and Siobhan remarks "That's the one that fucked up Liz" UC E14·02:27:42.

Liz wakes in hospital, says a woman in a pantsuit jumped her, and thanks Kingston, saying a hero will lay down their life for anybody UC E15·01:30:13 UC E15·01:30:50 UC E15·01:33:52. In the epilogue she scratches Bruce the dog's chin and says "What a sweetheart!" UC E17·01:49:38.
