Infernal book (Unsleeping City)

While looking for good things to save in the Hot Topic, Cody grabs something that looks like one of his giant novelty wallets but is a crazy infernal, devil-looking book UC2 E1·02:16:51. It smells like nasty, rotten, old meat, and Brennan says its production quality is incredible, with pages stitched into the binding with leather cords and old runes UC2 E1·02:16:51. Cody looks for the weirdest, most occult stuff in it and settles on a page of Latin he thinks he can read UC2 E1·02:18:00 UC2 E1·02:18:45. When he reads it aloud, the book erupts in flame and a pentagram surrounds him UC2 E1·02:19:16.

The infernal book is the book Cody finds under the wrestling tees in the Hot Topic of the closed Queens Center mall UC2 E1·02:16:51 UC2 E4·00:57:14. Reading its Latin page opens a pentagram and a column of fire, and a devil climbs out of the flame; Cody pulls it out, and it stands on the book UC2 E1·02:19:16 UC2 E1·02:20:21 UC2 E1·02:20:46. Later Cody calls it the weird book the devil came out of UC2 E1·02:24:15.

In UC2_04 Esther calls it a Fiendish Codex, and Cody explains he saw a devil book, opened it and flipped through it UC2 E4·00:57:14 UC2 E4·00:57:25. In UC2_06 Esther points to the appearance of an infernal codex in a Hot Topic as noteworthy, and JJ jokes that he has seen infernal codices in Hot Topics before UC2 E6·01:37:55 UC2 E6·01:38:12.
