Epona's onyx badge

After Epona arrives on police business, a Perception check shows that her police badge has been replaced by a different one UC E7·01:59:39. Brennan describes it as a shimmering onyx badge that is "specifically crooked", with zigzags woven into its pattern UC E7·01:59:39.

Epona's police badge is replaced by a shimmering, crooked onyx badge, which the party notices in UC_07 UC E7·01:59:39. In UC_08, when Epona demands the child at the Lorimer stop, the onyx badge glows, steam forms shadowy spectral officers, and crooked cops made of smoke appear in all the corners of the subway UC E8·00:10:33 UC E8·00:10:40 UC E8·00:10:50 UC E8·00:10:59.

The rats eat the badge UC E8·00:44:33. A cop then says "The badge is broken. We are released." and that they wish to devour rather than capture the child of dreams UC E8·00:53:41. Later the rats shred another cop, and Brennan says they seem to do it because the onyx badge is there UC E8·01:36:59.
