Ylfa's mother

Ylfa's mother is a voice behind a locked door in a flashback to Ylfa's family home, where she shouts "Get away from here!" at the door NA E1·01:45:13. She tells Ylfa "my daughter is dead", saying she does not know what Ylfa is NA E1·01:45:35. She begs Ylfa not to hurt them or the home, tells her to come to the door, and unlocks it, and when Ylfa opens it a dagger falls on her from a tall clock set against it NA E1·01:46:59 NA E1·01:49:11. Brennan says this was a trap, and the mother's voice cries "Run, run!" NA E1·01:49:37

Ylfa's mother appears only in that flashback and in one later mention. In the afterlife of the fourth episode Ylfa's grandmother, speaking like Ylfa's mother, tells her to listen to her mother, and says Ylfa's mother got that advice from her and that she does not agree with every decision her daughter has made NA E4·01:37:02 NA E4·01:37:22 NA E4·01:37:44.
