The Tsar of Snowhold

In the eleventh episode the Tsar of Snowhold is only mentioned and never seen: Brennan names him as one of the kings who have joined the Council of Kings, with the King of Apogee, the Naked Emperor and the Mouse King NA E11·00:24:20. A Snowhold letter in the Baron's desk carries a warning from the Tsar to be careful in seeking the aid of the giants, adding that asking favors of the Snow Queen is not something he can do lightly NA E11·00:32:21. Arzt says the dwarfs' princess is making ready to push her assault on the Tsar NA E11·01:51:57. He says the Tsar is not sending an army but Koschei, a knight who cannot die NA E11·01:53:12.

The Tsar is never seen in the show. In the twelfth episode Snow White says that in the morning he will appear at the edge of the field with Koschei the Deathless at the head of his knights, ready to cut down her army of dwarves NA E12·00:33:13. She says her plan is to defeat him and then address the Snow Queen, who she believes will listen to reason once the tsar is dead NA E12·00:34:00. In the thirteenth episode Brennan recaps that the party left Snow White and her spectral dwarves to face the Tsar and his champion Koschei NA E13·00:05:40. In the fourteenth episode Rapunzel says Snow White was able to overcome the tsar, after which they marched on the Snow Queen NA E14·01:15:29.
