The Spoon

In the sixth episode Brennan describes a spider with the torso of a young girl in place of its head, holding a small bowl with a spoon in it NA E6·00:21:17 NA E6·00:21:29. The girl, Miss Muffet, swings at Ylfa with a razor-sharp spoon and says curds and whey do not cut it for her anymore NA E6·00:46:55 NA E6·00:46:59.

In the sixth episode Pib's Investigation shows that the spoon Muffet wields is a magical weapon, and Brennan says it is quite possibly related to the plate the party met earlier NA E6·01:13:17 NA E6·01:13:26.

In the seventh episode Muffet takes the little spoon and it swivels around and speaks to the party NA E7·00:51:30 NA E7·00:51:36. It says its elopement with the plate was a "giant mistake", that it believed for a time they were in love, and that it does not recognize itself in the actions it took NA E7·00:51:50 NA E7·00:52:16 NA E7·00:52:47. When offered a page in the book, the spoon says everything written there about it is true and it does not think the book needs it anymore NA E7·00:53:26 NA E7·00:53:33.
