Fangs of Isengrim

In the fourth episode the Fox tells Pib that he bears the Ring of the Web and the Fangs of Isengrim, and that he would be very careful if he were Pib NA E4·00:54:40. Pib says he knows Isengrim NA E4·00:54:50. Brennan explains that Isengrim is a name the Fox has often used for the wolf, so these are two wolf's fang daggers NA E4·00:54:53.

In the tenth episode Brennan calls Pib's weapon a magical wolf fang dagger, and Pib hands one of the wolf fang daggers to Ylfa when she asks to borrow it NA E10·00:57:22 NA E10·00:57:48. Brennan later says Pib wields the fangs of the great wolf, which can chew through anything NA E10·01:21:00.

In the eleventh episode Pib asks the Wolf whether the daggers are his, and the Wolf answers "No longer. I want not for teeth." NA E11·00:42:46 NA E11·00:42:48 When Pib asks if his name is Isengrim, the Wolf says "In some places, yes." NA E11·00:42:53 NA E11·00:42:56 Pib later tells Ylfa that the daggers were named after a wolf named Isengrim, whom he did not meet personally NA E11·01:18:16. In the nineteenth episode Brennan narrates Pib leaping out and hurling a 60-foot wolf-fanged throw that splits Rapunzel's throat NA E19·00:14:07.
