Scuppers field

Jammer asks Dr. Norman Boodle where the gym is, and Boodle answers that it is the scuppers field, "on the far side of the campus, this big, flat field" MAM E2·01:03:39. He adds that there are brooms there, and that there is nothing like a weight room or a track because of magic MAM E2·01:03:39, MAM E2·01:04:14. He says you should play scuppers on your broom MAM E2·01:04:14.

Dr. Norman Boodle points Jammer to the scuppers field as the place to work out, and tells him to practice his flying MAM E2·01:03:39, MAM E2·01:04:06. After their first full school day the four go there: it is a big green pitch about 50 yards in both directions, greener than the foliage around it, and on stepping onto the grass they feel enclosed in a cube MAM E3·00:54:46. It has two big soccer-looking goals MAM E3·00:55:29. Hoggle Undergus teaches them to ride their brooms there MAM E3·00:57:28.

A month later Chimeron plays Hercinil on the field, with three balls in play and two goals MAM E3·01:14:29, MAM E3·01:15:07. A dark blue bolt hits the edge of one goal and shatters it, and students are cut up by the shrapnel MAM E3·01:33:49. Headmistress Boudicca Philtrum calls the game and declares Hercinil the winner MAM E3·01:43:13. In the finale Evan Kelmp tells the Headmistress that Tallulah Jillymont "Attempted to cast a lethal spell at me on the Scuppers field" MAM E4·00:34:26.
