Evan's shadow

At the familiar shop, the animals flee from Evan Kelmp, and a woman holds a shard of prismatic glass over him and tells him he has a familiar MAM E1·02:19:07, MAM E1·02:19:24. She says "It's a shadow. Everyone, please look down" MAM E1·02:19:38. In the torchlight everyone is throwing shadows, but Evan has thrown none MAM E1·02:19:43. She tells everyone to stay away MAM E1·02:19:54. She adds "It has fed recently" MAM E1·02:20:01.

Evan Kelmp tells his new friends that if they see a shadow in his shape they should just run, and that he does not know how any of it works MAM E1·02:22:33. The next day Whitney Jammer says of him "Chased by his own shadow" MAM E2·00:47:12. Evan himself says "I don't have a shadow" MAM E2·00:59:41. When the voices overtake him, Brennan describes Evan reaching a hand out of shadow toward Sam Black, and when Whitney Jammer wrenches him free "the shadows disappear" MAM E3·01:58:15, MAM E3·02:04:15.

In the finale Evan decides he is done running, points his wand at the ground and summons his shadow MAM E4·00:24:49, MAM E4·00:24:55. Aabria says he never had to roll to summon it, since "The struggle has always been to keep it away", and it comes as a four-part shadow like an X under his feet from every pane of glass and sconce MAM E4·00:26:15. Evan orders it to go to a Planet Fitness and bring free weights to Jammer, or he will cast it into the sun MAM E4·00:27:17. The lights go out, the shadow is gone, kettlebells are heard dropping, and Jammer finds a full gym MAM E4·00:27:53, MAM E4·00:29:17, MAM E4·00:29:40, MAM E4·00:31:53. Later Evan again reaches in to find his shadow to examine a spell on Khanh Nguyen MAM E4·02:07:07.
