The shards of Cassandra are shards of twilight energy S3E7·00:52:36. They glow during Fig's prayer S3E8·00:53:39. Kristen Applebees keeps them in her Wrangler pocket, and they are purple and sourced from Cassandra S3E9·01:09:11, S3E11·00:24:34, S3E11·00:40:19.

Brennan notes them glowing in her pocket S3E14·00:20:10. Fig coaches Kristen through an earpiece, and she tells an NPC her crystals have turned to dusty sand, which calls for a Deception check S3E14·01:16:25, S3E14·01:16:39, S3E14·01:17:00. They are so bright that extra fabric must be put around them S3E17·01:44:05. In episode 20 Kristen plans to pull out the shards and try to talk to Cassandra S3E20·01:15:23.
