The Page of Shadows is a flimsy piece of parchment that Riz grabs from inside the creamed-corn ooze in the cafeteria, with an incision in its middle as from a blade E2·00:50:04. Kristen reads it as covered in "runes of darkness and midnight, runes against Helio and Sol", a page of darkness and a warping of the true gospel E2·01:12:25. It resists Riz's attempt to tear it up E2·00:57:34E2·00:57:38.
Riz shoots the page while it is held up for him, and the ooze dissolves and all the corn gremlins disappear E2·01:17:24E2·01:17:56. The recap of the next episode recalls the slimy parchment covered in strange runes E3·00:00:19. Searching Zayn Darkshadow's notes, the party finds religious doodles similar to "the Page of Shadows that animated that corn ooze" E7·01:06:03.
Gorthalax later explains that he gave Johnny Spells a page to create a hellmouth inside a person, a page that would need a person with a direct connection to Sol to trigger the apocalypse E9·00:37:45. Kristen tells him it possessed the lunch lady and a vat of corn, and when Gorthalax asks whether it is still intact the party says they ripped it up E9·00:42:03E9·00:47:45.
