NPCs · first: BK E1

The Vinguri

Five dark riders on wyverns circle the Bloodkeep beneath gathering storm clouds, and Brennan calls them knights of undeath BK E1·00:25:38. Their leader is Kraz-Thun the Umbra Knight, whom Brennan names the King of the Pactwraiths BK E1·00:25:51. The other riders are Torbael, Miles, Oswald and Toby BK E1·00:28:11 BK E1·00:28:28 BK E1·00:29:53 BK E1·00:30:41. Kraz-Thun at one point addresses Torbael as Declan and corrects himself, so the two names probably belong to one rider BK E1·00:28:11.

The Vinguri are the undead pactwraith knights who serve the Lord of Shadows from the Bloodkeep, five wyvern riders led by Kraz-Thun, who is also called Leiland BK E1·00:25:51 BK E1·00:28:28. In the volcano forge Leiland calls himself the king of the Vinguri while he duels Galfast Hamhead BK E2·00:58:20.

Leiland later screeches to summon the Vinguri to the volcano, and four of them arrive and are called pactwraiths by Brennan BK E3·00:18:30. He tells them to keep watch over the Bloodkeep because armies are advancing, and they ask whether the Lord of Shadows knows BK E3·00:18:52 BK E3·00:19:26. Declan stays behind, and Leiland stabs him by surprise with a rune blade before the party kills him BK E3·00:25:44 BK E3·00:29:09. During the airship battle three Vinguri arrive on dire bats BK E4·01:13:39.

After the fall a vision shows Miles, Oswald, Declan, Torbael and Kraz-Thun as Zaul'Nazh's soldiers BK E5·01:38:26. Miles asks Leiland whether he killed Declan, then tells him he has no idea about the Lord of Shadows, and the conversation is cut off; Miles' fate is not stated BK E5·00:25:25 BK E5·00:26:58 BK E5·00:27:25.

In the final battle Oswald and Toby attack Leiland, and Toby knocks him unconscious with a rune blade BK E6·00:33:08 BK E6·02:02:57. Leiland kills Toby with Finger of Death, and Toby, now a zombie, says he will serve BK E6·02:11:14 BK E6·02:12:32. Leiland also persuades Oswald, and both are back under his command BK E6·02:12:04 BK E6·02:12:54. A troll then hits Oswald twice, which Brennan calls the end of Oswald BK E6·02:23:03.
