J'er'em'ih
J'er'em'ih is Sokhbarr's animal companion, the last scream beast, whom Sokhbarr rescued from extinction BK E1·00:17:04. He is a hellish quadrupedal creature, part lizard, frog, beaked squid and crab, with prehensile eyestalks and a blowfish-like head with a beak BK E1·00:17:04. Sokhbarr helps him give birth to a two-headed goblin crab centaur BK E1·00:17:04.
J'er'em'ih is Sokhbarr's scream beast, shown on a character card, and bone spikes sprout from his eyes in the volcano forge BK E2·00:03:43 BK E2·02:00:02. In the airship battle he repeatedly attacks Tavian, jabbing a wet proboscis into his chest, and finally chokes him to death BK E4·01:10:31 BK E4·01:59:14. He takes the helm of The Siren, held by bony tentacles, and Sokhbarr says he can mimic the voices of those he kills BK E4·02:01:56 BK E4·02:02:26. He then becomes a forty-foot parachute of thin membrane as the ship falls BK E4·02:07:27.
After the crash he takes Leiland's Vinguri blood and turns gray and then ghost-transparent BK E5·00:35:57. In the final battle his eyestalks erupt into hundreds of small lasers, and his tail launches missiles BK E6·01:16:16 BK E6·01:53:54. At the end Sokhbarr hopes another scream beast will come into the world, and the Vinguri blood in J'er'em'ih spreads to his head and his scream opens rifts to nightmare realms from which pups appear, and Maggie jokes that he was pregnant too BK E6·02:52:07 BK E6·02:52:26 BK E6·02:53:02 BK E6·02:53:28.
